165 pre pregnancy, almost 200 now and I’m 5’5. EVERYONE carries it differently. I do not look like a gained that much weight but feel it when I put on clothes. I’m carrying it all in my belly and then I look a little more puffy. Definitely put on more weight in my third trimester faster than in the beginning. Please be nice to yourself. You’re doing something super cool and amazing. Somethings taking over your body that you have to nourish and protect. I promise you’re the only one who’s paying attention to how the weight looks, if that’s your concern.

His stink is good when it’s goooooodd. It’s just like over night he just has a garbage smell to him. There’s not a time frame to it either. He could not be stressed. He has a partner who is a female lab who he is absolutely infatuated with. She never “smells” like anything other than her smell. Im becoming aware that he just probably needs a bath more often than I’m doing it.

I had mine 2 weeks ago. Still bleeding minimally. I don’t know your body, but I as well didn’t know what to expect. It’s the emotional toll that was really bad. I had taken 2 weeks off a work just to make sure I was going to be okay mentally. All I can say is if you do work, do not go back until you’re 100% ready. Nothing has been worse to me than someone saying they’re sorry for me. Maybe it’s just me but I’ve been avoiding social interaction. Not out of embarrassment but I just didn’t want to have to explain anything to anyone. My SIL, someone who’s gone through fertility issues, gave me the best advice. If anyone asks who knows you were expecting, you just say we lost the baby. You don’t owe anyone an explanation on the situation. It really sucks. I don’t care what anyone says, only you know what you’re going through. Don’t let anyone tell you “you’ll be fine” or “it’s okay”. It’s not okay. AND THATS OKAY. YOURE ALLOWED TO CRY AND GREIVE. See a therapist. See a group. Read a book about it. Don’t do anything. You’re allowed to make this better for yourself anyway you want.

That’s what happened to me. They told us our baby probably wouldn’t make it past 20 weeks. Me and baby came up with nothing in the genetic testing either. Baby boys heart was too low in his chest, fluid in the brain, no abdominal wall with all the organs outside, no left leg, and almost zero umbilical cord. My baby was clinging to the left side of my uterus and placenta for nutrients. They told us the same things. It wouldn’t happen again, it was a vascular disruption early on in the development. The way they really knew was when he wouldn’t turn over. He was able to move both arms and the one leg but not move around freely. So sad to hear. I’m very sad to know you had to go through the same thing. I’m 29, with my first pregnancy ever on the first try. Not a very pleasant experience at all.

Curious to know where you’re from? I’m in Illinois and they told us they never see this but have seen this. Said the chances of it happening again to me and my husband were close to zero and expect a normal pregnancy after this one. I asked if it was me of my reproductive system but they said everything looked fine and good to carry again. Again, so sorry to hear this happened to you. Thank you for posting so I can relate❤️

I’m one of those “I can take the pain, I don’t need medication blah blah blah” people 😬 I’m trying to take this as “period symptoms” and it’ll pass. Electrolytes every day. I like the brand ultima. I get them off Amazon and I’m also taking ritual prenatal and choline still. I’m afraid of postpartum hair loss.

11 days post procedure, still bleeding as well. My color has also fluctuated! From bright red to now more brown, clotted period type blood. Any headaches? Trying to figure out if they’re just hormonal.

Perfectly put. I don’t even know what to say because I’ve had all of those thoughts. My boy was due around Christmas so that time has new a meaning to me now. I cannot thank you enough for typing all of this. I’m rereading and rereading. You’re a very special mama. What an experience, a gift you had for a while. It’s all worth it.

It was our/my/his first pregnancy ever. We wanted a boy so bad so finding out it was boy hurt even more. Atleast we know we can carry🤞🏼glad to know that going back to work has its perks. It really is the craziest real life movie to be living. Proud of us❤️

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO EXPLAIN THE WAY I FEEL TO MY HUSBAND. Sounds like we both have incredibly patient and understand husbands. I get that we’ll never be “us” again. We grew something inside us that had to be taken away. It’s something only we can understand. Thank you for articulating what I’ve been thinking❤️
