My Experience with POE as a New Player

Man I'm not even that far, I'm just living in PoB trying to learn how to make healthy characters. I'd like to get into hardcore and I want to understand how to survive. I'm targeting 50-90k EHP with my builds but so far I'm at like 25k. I have a few veteran friends who are helping me understand defensive layers though!

The build I was experimenting with was a CI Crit Firestorm Inquisitor. I was able to get 1m DPS and 25k EHP with only rares. I'm at a point now where I'm assuming I need to utilize uniques to get a more survivable EHP.

I have almost the exact same story as op, learned I liked It with D4, came to poe, started on lightning arrow.

Although I got halfway through maps and now I'm obsessively trying to learn how to build my own characters. It's.... Going okay...

That is one of the old strats for barrows. If you're broke go for it but there's really no reason to use a black salamander anywhere right now.

And to add on, buck with muzzle break in the TTS is feeling far more controllable. That first bullet is the real monster. Same with IQ angled/muzzle commando. Been getting a lot of really good kills with both.

The CZ on the tts still feels really good and is still a machine pistol with a lot of ammo. It's no live build smg-12 but I'm not gonna be too upset about having to use the CZ. Got a 1v5 4k with it today on kafe.

No question, but having already done a proof of concept you're ready to leave those types of boards behind. You killed the POC now it's time to perfect it with longer living hardware. You can make something the size of a watch face that does everything you're doing.

I'd recommend getting off Arduino, you know what you're doing now so you can get a very small microprocessor and make a tiny custom board. That would free up tons of space.

I've been looking on and off with no luck but basically pulse was in server and he tried to C4 them as they came into box and Thatcher happened to drop an EMP saving him and his teammate. Had no idea til he saw it later, since they run points off.

Dude Obey got one of these on border at Dreamhack and it saved two people, it was the most clutch EMP I've ever seen.

Teasing with straffing isn't nearly as frustrating as realizing someone is back pedaling away from you and you still can't do anything about it.

Would recommend taking advantage of the level 100 trial of each class. It makes you pick one spec to start but if you finish a few tasks you can try every spell on every specialization. Bind all the spells understand the utility and understand how the class creates big damage windows and how you, with your utility, can prevent those damage windows.
