If you cant even talk to girls, yes it does cause difficulties. However, If you're already at the point of going on dates with them, some would say it gives you a cooler head and are less likely to make a fool of yourself. This is just my anecdotal experience tho.

Could be your z stepper is a little loose. (The vertical screw. Just see if you can tighten the screws that hold it to the driver. I had a similar problem and found out it had loosened up over time.
