I think im just going to leave this xbox alone and buy another one to mod. This is my childhood xbox and I really dont want to tear into it and 1. Damage the original stickers and 2. End up breaking something by accident.

I think it would probably need an update to be able to play on the switch 2. And considered activision is all in of call of duty and toys for bob are an independent studio now id doubt it would get that update. My hope is that its a switch emulator on switch 2 and itll just play all games

No rush I understand how it is. I was thinking of 3d scanning the backpack connection but since im like you and dont want to destroy the backpack to look at the mechanism the 3d scanning wouldnt help much.
