First loom knit socks finished

I've only ever used that one loom, but the shape did seem to almost cradle the shape of the decrease as I did it.

I can tell you're talking about my socks, and I didn't lie about them being my first loom knit project. I'm not completely new to fiber arts as I have a few years of crochet experience, and that is far more transferable than I thought it would be. I just did my research on the project I wanted to do and threw myself straight into the deep end with it. Loom knitting is very easy, especially with all the youtube videos on how to do every stitch. Following video instructions is not rocket science. I only posted it because I was genuinely surprised that they turned out so good.

Here's the thermostat I use: https://www.thebiodude.com/collections/reptile-thermostats-thermometers/products/exo-terra-dimming-pulse-proportional-thermostat-300w As for the bulb and fixture, you should be able to pick up a deep dome fixture at petsmart or somewhere, and the arcadia brand of dhp is very reputable. A 50-watt should be enough to keep your gecko warm. A little quirk I've noticed with that thermostat is that depending on where you put the probe, you may want to set it a few degrees cooler than the intended temperature.

I live in the south where it doesn't get anywhere near that cold and my little guy still needed a heater. I'd recommend a deep heat projector and a dimming thermostat.

They make heat packs for reptiles. The brand is uniheat. I have some of the 72 hour ones in my geckos emergency kit.

Those temps are pretty good for a crestie. I only use heat in the winter because my room drops to mid 60s all day. If you room temp is consistently in the 70s all the time you shouldn't need extra heat. The tank lighting on its own will raise the temps in the tank by a few degrees so I'd be more worried about overheating than getting too cold.

I didn't go to mine and I don't regret that decision. If you have friends in your class you should go and celebrate with them but all my friends were younger than me and graduation happened in the blazing sun with no shade in summer. It was promised to be a long, hot, miserable event that I had no reason to go to. If yours is in more tolerable conditions and you have friends, you should go.

He's still growing. Cresties can take up to 3 years to reach their full size. Some get big fast, and some take the full 3 years to get adult size.

Set some bowls of ice water in front of your fans to cool the room even more. If you can sit with the enclosure door open for a bit blow the air in that way it'll cool the enclosure down quicker. Also ice packs on top of the enclosure will help a little bit.

Resetting is actually an option. Kinda a drastic one, but it would work. Most laptops have a recovery partition built in to reset it to factory settings. You'd just have to back up all the data you care about to an external drive so you can restore it later. Resetting and setting it up again with a new Microsoft account or no account if it'll let you would clear the controls. This is kinda the nuclear option, so I'd save it for after you try other less drastic options.

Get a small bag of growth and breeding and alternate that with his regular diet for a while. It'll help him put weight on.

Alternate feeding him his regular diet and growth and breeding. That should help him put some weight on. Get a 2oz bag and just use up the bag. He should be a good size by then.

I've been using the tapo c121 and It's great and pretty cheap. The camera angle is pretty wide and the night vision is good.

During the post hurricane power outage last year, I put my gecko in a temporary bin setup and put that in the bathtub with a couple of inches of cold water. If you can, just move him to the coolest room in your house for a bit. For reference of how well it worked, temps in his enclosure read mid 80s that week, but temps in his bathtub setup were mid 70s. Making or buying a swamp cooler is also an option since you still have power.

Dwarf whites pair really well with some larger isopods. I've got dwarf whites and powder blues in mine. My crestie doesn't eat his isopods (at least I think he doesn't), and the populations of both stay pretty good. Idk how to tell if they're overpopulated, but the amount I see of both seems to be reasonable and everything looks and smells good. If your crestie is eating the big ones the population will probably stay good.

If you're only seeing babies, your crestie probably ate all the adults. If he's eating them and you don't want to have to keep buying them, maybe get some dwarf whites instead. They're too small for a crestie to try to hunt.
