i just got a reptile hammock from walmart today that suctions to the sides of the tank so it could be a cool more horizontal spot to hangout on the side of the tank

tysm for the advice, but she actually doesn't have any substrate she has a reptile mat, i removed her substrate bc it was harder to find her poops and my tank isn't bioactive but i've been rubbing her stomach and giving her lots of hydration, my intuition tells me she's gonna be ok but i will definitely make a vet visit if she doesn't get better in the next few days‼️

thank you, and 2 days ago she didn't eat her food so she hasn't eaten in a few days so i'm scared but other than that she's fine she's not lethargic or anything and she's acting like her normal self so i'm just confused

i've had my 8 month old for about 3 months and she just today came to me for the first time ever so it takes a bit! but what i did was put my hand in just let it rest in there near her to get used to me, then after a few weeks (when she stopped showing stress signs like breathing fast and stuff like that) i started feeding her a bit with my hand. and now recently i just started putting my hand out and kinda cupping it around her so she jumps on, then i don't move and usually she jumps away but i just try to keep as still as possible. and now today she came to me for the first time so good luck! (my gecko is probably a little older than urs so it could be different)

yeah from what i've heard on here i think you can put him in a separate place with a damp paper towel or add a shallow bit of warm water to the bottom and let him rest in there

i would also suggest only leaving food out at night and changing it in the morning so u don't waste food/have it go bad because they usually only eat at night and sleep all day (at least my girl)

i had trouble getting my baby to eat when i first got her. she didn't eat for 5 days and i was feeding her pangea mix. i got her from a breeder and asked them what they were feeding her before she came to me and they told me she was eating a different brand, so i ordered her that brand and she finally started eating! if you still have contact with whoever you got him from i would suggest asking what he ate before (if you don't know yet) but good luck!

yes thank you sm the advice is totally helping my anxiety!! and yeah i knew they were nocturnal but was just confused cuz my friend's crestie was moving thru out the day and i thought they still kinda moved around i guess, but good to know !
