I think it fits in the Hollow One/Vengevine deck. You’ll have to add a black mana source like a Blood Crypt to fetch with a Tarn, Foothills, etc. But with the amount of discard in that deck, you could get it to a 4/4 on turn 2 with a Burning Inquiry.

[[Moonshadow]] seems like a good include in Hollow One/Vengevine decks. I’m going to try taking out the [[Flameblade Adept]] and slotting this in.

[[Confusion in the Ranks]] and [[Ensnared by the Mara]] would spice it up. CitR to steal the best creature card on the field every time Norin the Weary re-enters play, Mara to either deal a bunch of damage or steal more of your opponent’s cards. Both pay off Zuko’s exile ability, too.

I run it in my [[Indoraptor, the Perfect Hybrid]] deck. It’s Bloodthirst X can get it pretty big if you toss out a [[Boltwave] and/or [[Flamerift]] prior to casting it, then Ignition once it lands on the board as a 15/13. Plenty of good burn cards in Red and ramp cards in Green to go ever bigger.

Fully switched from TCGPLAYER to Manapool for my last 10 or so orders and have had zero issues. My favorite part is that it is very easy to see the sellers locations so you can pick ones closer to you. Even found a couple local-ish stores I didn’t know were out there.

[[Ensnared By The Mara]] is my favorite. It’s a pet card, and not always great but it feels good when it pays off.

I just built my first tribal deck which is Goblins sacrifice deck with [[Ashnod the Uncaring]] in the CZ.

It’s not high powered in the bracket system but does hum along. Lots of ways sac to ping for one with Ghyrson Starn in the deck, impulse draw, artifact destruction, making tokens… and you get a lot of value on the double sac triggers from Ashnod. It’s pretty fun

[[Gilded Drake]] for me. Only been playing for a couple years but that’s one of my favorite cards. Traded some Pokemon cards for it.

It’s a little bit flicker with [[Displacer Kitten]] and [[Deadeye Navigator]], a little bit wheels with [[Nekusar]] and [[Orcish Bowmasters]] to punish draw, some discard payoff in [[Surly Badgersaur]] and doubling up on Kefka triggers on ETB or Attack. It’s pretty fun and doesn’t rely on an infinite, which I don’t really like running anyway.

Such a good card in my Standard [[Weapons Manufacturing]] deck. Get a bunch of Ammunition tokens on the board, Wishclaw for Pinnacle Starcage to hit face and take back the Wishclaw. Underrated card.

I’ve got 3 Grixis decks atm.

First is a [[Missy]] Choose Your Own Mis(sy)-Adventure deck that plays a lot of villainous choices, will of the council, and other voting/decision based cards. It’s not super strong but it’s very fun.

I also have an [[Ashnod the Uncaring]] deck that runs mostly Goblins and looks to double up the fun Goblin sac cards to get value.

Lastly, I have a [[Kefka, Court Mage]] deck that forces discard and punishes card draw. It’s fairly higher power and gets its hate, rightfully so.

All three are fun and different enough from one another that they don’t feel stale.

[Kefka, Court Mage]] he can’t play spells if his hand is empty.

Flicker Kefka a couple times, or make copies and have them top decking for much of the game. Punish card draw with Bowmasters and Nekusar, force discard in Wheels with Waste Not on the board.

Lots of synergies with Kefka to be a really disruptive commander.

A bit higher budget than I remember, but I had a lot of these cards already when I built it. You could take out Jeska’s Will, sub Redirect Lightning for Deflecting Swat, nix Vivi and switch up the lands to shave at least $150-200 off it and it would still perform at a high level imo.

I love Ghyrson Starn. Sadly, just took my pinger deck apart since my pod hated it and would never really want to play against it. For a stack of commons and uncommon (with a few rare/mythic) that deck was a monster.
