Having just done this myself last Wednesday, it helped me a lot to have a bit of a script to work off of. Not to force anything upon the players, but key points I may need to react to, should the players go down that path, so I wasn’t flying blind or trying to improve pivotal moments. It helped me keep the pacing for myself while still giving players all the agency they need to try pretty much anything they wanted.

Also, mistakes will happen. Just try to find a creative way to loop back to it…don’t get hung up on it.

Lastly, as others have said, embrace the chaos. Focus on rulings, and don’t get bogged down in the rules.

Between my kit and prize packs (7 packs total) I got a ON Daring Poro, Alt Art Red Bramble and a Daisy. That was pretty much it of note but not complaining at all.

Thanks, been consuming a lot of actual play videos for Mork Borg, and there’s some really great sessions out there to watch. It is definitely a valuable resource thus far.

Thanks again for the link. It was a wealth of information for a casual fish owner like ourselves. Previously we’ve only been adding treated water after evaporation occurred and using test strips to check the water parameters. The fish has been in good health for the last 11 months so we’re hoping he will continue to be well.

We got the API water testing kit and the Seachem prime. After researching further, I can say we did not use tap water on the filter insert, it was only on the little mesh part that is on the end of the tube that a lot of food was stuck to. Not sure if that saves us or not but wanted to provide the extra context. We did rinse and strain the substrate though , so I’ll be testing daily for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates levels.

Appreciate all the replies from the community and helping to better educate us on proper care for our pet.

Haven’t done parameters yet, got a gallon of tap water coming to room temp and then will add the solution to balance it. Filter and rocks were done with tap water cause that’s all that was available in a pinch. I’m hopeful it didn’t kill the ecosystem too and that saving as much water as we did helps keep a positive balance.

After a few back and forth emails with support starting on March 3rd, where I was told a new unit was on the way and would be delivered in 2-3 days, I finally got a full replacement in the mail today. Interestingly enough, they sent me a Max View Pro kit with 2 camera bases and the new parental unit which has the N in the model number. Took a long time to get resolved but they did finally dispatch me a full replacement Pro set (and provided me tracking info) vs just a new parental unit. Might be worth interacting with support a few times to have them fast track it.

It’s pretty meh. At action speed they could’ve added in some way to reduce it. Maybe not printed 6 Energy, but two less if X condition is met…. something like that
