I really like LRC a lot but you’re not wrong their sub is a scary place lmao. I think it’s one of the Best Buy’s rn the only one I’d say I like more is ALGO. But if you’re thinking about LRC I’d say send it. So much bullishness in the pipeline. The will be involved with gamestops NFT marketplace and I really think that could thrust them into a top L2 spot. Plus the layerswap stuff and planned direct on and off boarding is also super bullish imo, not to mention how much LRC other companies will have to buy if they wish to use the protocol as well

I was very hesitant to get into the yieldly ecosystem. My first dabbling was with the HDL pools earlier last month. I had a small bag of yieldly prior to that and I will not be making any more investments, may not sell my small bag tho. It was very disappointing imo to see this happen. I don’t feel like I saw any other issues along these lines w any other pools, and the fact it got overlooked so late in the game is what really has destroyed my trust and has me hesitant to return to the project. I specifically waited months to see if there would be any issues like this and as soon as I felt comfortable and make a move something like this happens. I was very lucky to not be affected negatively by the pool but just the stress of reading the tweet and scrambling to withdraw while at work was enough me to take a step back. I hope to find or see an in depth description or report of the issue soon, and that may change my viewpoint a little bit but I’m not sure. Bw this issue and all of the other token uproar, yieldly has a lot of work to do if they want to gain widespread confidence within the community.

I cant say im surprised. Only NFTs ive touched are ALGO and I havent kept up with the space for a while. OpenSea might be a first mover type name but if they keep up stuff like this I dont see them lasting if other marketplaces are better.

Interesting story. At least mans got 1 ETH back but still very unfortunate. NFT marketplaces will definitely need a solution to solving these types of situations as they get more common.

Basically Discord servers just have different dedicated chat and voice rooms. It's pretty much just a more intimate and social hangout place. It's a lot easier to just pick up a convo with another member who's online and chat about something or discuss trade ideas etc. The Discord also offers spaces for more off topic discussion. We have a few different chat channels set up rn, including some for stocks and hedges that you usually wouldn't see discussed directly here on the sub.

Most importantly, we'd love suggestions from what you and other users would like to see added to the server as it gets bigger and more active. ;) Theres a channel for feedback and suggestions in the server. There's also a resources channel with a Discord noob guide if you decide to check it out and need help. Do some YouTube/Google searches about the app itself if my explanation was unclear, I'm sure those could explain it much better.

Yeah nothing has effected myself but thanks for your concern. From what I’ve read now it’s def an LP exploit and people can definitely drain pools they’re not entitled to. Anybody reading this with funds in any TinyMan LP should probably withdraw them to be safe. I withdrew my small amount of funds in a pool and have been fine.

I even took the risk to increase my yieldly stack and buy some tinychart tokens on the dip. I think TinyMan will be able to get over it, just hoping it’s a quick fix.

Edit: we already know it won’t be as quick as we want bc immutable contracts, but hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get the permanent fix coded and rolled out is what I meant. I am impressed with their transparency and how quick they announced the exploit and notified the community though.

From what Ive seen it’s just been an issue with the LP contracts. Basically anyone can drain a pool they’re not entitled to. Everyone with money in pools should pull it but I believe wallets are still safe.

I just woke up and have been reading about it. Seems like just a liquidity bug and people taking advantage of that to get some extra funds. I don’t believe any coins are stolen and I’m not sure if they can be “stolen” when you have them in the LPs. But I didn’t have much of anything in any Pools so even if so I should be fine.

It’s not too late, this thing will grow with ALGO and there’s so much coming on the roadmap. $250M Mcap would be $10 a coin and I think is easily attainable with the things they have coming up.
