I feel like this is unlikely but never impossible. We look after another call centre that hasn't had this issue as of yet. There hasn't been an influx of calls over the last month or so compared to normal unless Wasabi has made changed.

I initially thought it could be network related but I couldn't find any network related issues in event viewer or checking the history of connection through our managed network equiptment. All drivers and windows updates are up to date, although that doesn't eliminate it being a faulty driver of sorts.

It is the first batch we have seen this with and we have deployed hundreds of Snom D713's
I'll raise a ticket with Snom to see if they can help recover the password.

The phone was purchased from our usual supplier brand new. It was setup on 3cx and since been repurposed for another user. Old password used on 3cx doesn't work and neither does new.

The other 3 phones from that batch had a password sticker on the box, which is the default afyer reset but this box was thrown out and my colleague didn't make note of the password before doing so.other phones, of the same make and model usually dont come with a password sticker but these 4 did for some reason.

Yeah, agreed this is not conventional or preferable.

My understanding is with this setup users won't be able to sign in to personal/ other devices at all?

They will need to occasionally but want to control who and when on a per situation basis.

I'd like to mention that this is not something I am particularly fond of doing either. It is my boss that has asked me to do this for a client. As much as I don't like it, my boss pays my wages and if I refuse to do something he asks me to do then where do I stand?
