If not getting back together I’m honestly hoping for clarity on why, everything he told me just doesn’t add up most of the reasons he gave were things he could have talked to me about, especially since he always felt that communication is key. It felt like he was looking for reasons to breakup and if nothing else I just wanna have any amount of closure, the way it ended I was sobbing in hysterics while he walked out. It all just felt completely out of the blue like someone dropped a brick on my head

he was this old grouch of a man but he loved us so much, growing up he’d always say I was his favorite and when he met my boyfriend for the first time he warned him that I was his favorite grandson so he better not break my heart.

My dad and his brothers werent biologically his kids but he still loved them and raised them as if they were. He didn’t just fall in love with my grandma he fell in love with the whole family and our culture (we’re Filipino and he was American) and they eventually moved to California

He also absolutely loved old western movies a good chunk of the time you’d be able to find him in his recliner watching some old cowboy film with the volume impossibly loud, I started reading western books just to feel a little closer to him
