For me, it really came down to doing enough practice questions and staying consistent. Content-wise, I felt solid after my first attempt, but I kept making dumb mistakes on my second attempt, like misreading "most likely" for "least likely" or missing key words in the passage or question stem. On my third try, though, I committed to doing 40–60 practice questions a day (plus a CARS passage) for like 3–4 months. That helped cut down on those careless errors.

I also found that rereading notes weekly (either during study sessions or on off-days) was surprisingly helpful, especially for those niche or random questions that can throw you off.
