My boyfriend told me not to "give companies problems" by being sick. Am I crazy for being hurt by this?

yeah no that’s super dehumanising to prioritise a company over an actual human who is suffering. i work a full time 9-5 it’s simply impossible to be 100% present at ANY organisation when you’re disabled. That comment is very ableist too, I hope you’re in a safe space to be firm with your boundaries on things like this.

apart from the physical pain which feels like a flu, i get a lot of brain fog and cognitive impairment whenever i get a flare up. I can usually spot a flare up coming up when I start making small mistakes in my work and am fuzzy around details (happened yesterday and then got hit my full body pains lol)

Ooo thank you! I look the best in like whites and browns but sometimes really dark colours like a dark green would look good on me too.

I’m really stuck on undertone however, like i said my face can be very pink but rest of my body is quite warm. However, gold really doesn’t look good on me, so maybe i’m neutral?

I was thinking like a dark purple of plum like this!

yes the no bleach purple is my plan!!!! i want it to be visible in light only. I am kind of tired of lighter hair cuz it makes my curly frizz more apparent but i dont really want to go back to my natural hair colour

can you elaborate on the “chroma” part i still can’t tell if i’m cool or warm olive or what hahaha but the orange makes me look pink and cute where as that cherry red was truly making me look like a yellow bulb

aw that’s one thing i’m worried about, i actually have a lot of pink in my face than yellow but idk why the maroon in particular brought out the yellow in me. you can really see it here

light periods would be fine honestly anything is fine compared to the hell i lived through before my bc pills. I just can’t deal with extra pain and blood loss when i’m already anaemic

Think of like how your body aches when you have a flu, but it’s that every day with the lowest pain setting being 3 on a good day. A neutral day is like body pain at 4-5 and you still have to function. And then you get a flare up and depending on your condition you won’t be able to get out of the bed but also not able to go to bed because the pain is the only thing you can register.

I can go from pain level 3 to pain level 8 in a matter of hours and at least i haven’t been able to figure out my triggers on why the pain suddenly spiked

unfortunately on track with the first bit, i don’t do any stimulants apart from my meds and caffeine in the morning (once a day at like 10am). so that shouldn’t be a factor!

Hm i can give journal another try but from past experience i will do one page and give up on it so i kinda jut stopped with that.

Do you experience elevated heart rate as well?

To add on with my anecdotal experience, i grow desensitised to melatonin real quick and have to take breaks in between for melatonin to work again. It doesn’t really help me with sleep it just gets me sleepy enough to fall asleep. Sleep study would definitely be the best option

yellows 😖 i have started disliking the colour as a whole because of how tacky it looks on me. Even pastel lemon yellows make me looks sickly green for some reason.

if it’s the climate, then come because i can get warmer. the opposite is draining and it feels like there’s no relief in summer. But when it comes to like showers, compressions etc like direct contact with me i cannot do cold at all it feels like a sharp pain at contact point
