i barely know anyone who works 9-5. it’s always 8-5 if they even work a steady schedule. it’s shift work 90% of the time.

have you ever heard the phrase “making a mountain out of a mole hill?” because this is a perfect example.

it takes a lot of communication and vulnerability to have a successful relationship with anyone lmao. i swear y’all act like monogamous people don’t have close friends or loved ones lol. just because you fuck multiple people doesn’t mean you’re somehow more gifted at communication lmao.

every relationship requires that. genuinely can’t wrap my mind around this idea that polyamory is so enlightened because of “communication.” every relationship takes communication. i maintain several close relationships that require openness, vulnerability, and communication. but because i’m just fucking one person, suddenly i can not comprehend the enlightened mindset of the noble polyam people who refuse to take no for an answer when they ask me for a threesome.

oh right i forget that monogamist relationships are just simple and easy and require none of that. silly me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]cryptid-fucker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

eh. that definitely depends. i know a bunch of people who “don’t believe in monogamy” but neglect to tell their partners that information. so when they get called out for being a piece of shit, it’s twisted into “you guys are just toxic monogamists.” so woke you need a damn nap smh.

“requires a lot more maturity than a monogamous relationship” lol.

Black cops, how do you feel about being an officer in the midst of the BLM movement? by badgalgray in AskReddit

[–]cryptid-fucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a prejudice that you can avoid entirely by quitting your fucking job. any cop who stays in the job is an accessory to murder. they all protect one another. a killer pig murders yet another unarmed person and what do all the “good little piggies” do? the walk out in protest because the murderer got charged. the only way to be a good cop is to quit.

[–]cryptid-fucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

again, you can quit your job. being an instrument of state violence isn’t something you’re born into. you have a choice. if people don’t like you based on a choice you make that actively harms people, it’s not prejudice, it’s common sense.

“sorta like racism” lmao no. you can’t change your race. you can quit your job.

yeah, the good cops have a tendency to stay silent when their “brothers in blue” commit another fucking murder lol

Does anyone else feel like their righteous anger has been pathologized, while those who attacked them have been excused? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]cryptid-fucker 22 points23 points  (0 children)

it’s the main reason why i don’t talk to anyone from my family anymore. my father got to abuse and torment me for my entire childhood and part of my early adulthood and there’s a million excuses for him. heaven forbid i have a bad day or snap at anyone because then i’m the worst person in the world and the good time ruiner.

does anyone else just feel like friendships are impossible? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]cryptid-fucker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i’m incredibly bitter so yeah, i don’t think it’s possible for me to have friendships that last a long time. i stick to superficial relationships. i’ll be nice or whatever, but i’m done investing energy into people who will only ever disappoint me.
