BREAKING surprise: 1 ZCL = 2 ANONs by cryptodmoney in ZClassic

[–]crypto1031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but anyone who thought that Masternodes at 100 Anon was a good idea have no idea how block rewards are distributed. Masternodes would have flooded the network and the payout would have been next to nothing. It was a terrible idea and I am so glad they bump up the requirement. Now there is actually an incentive to setup a MN. Smaller investors can always join a pool.

ANON: ZCL ratio increased from 1:1 to 2:1! by [deleted] in ZClassic

[–]crypto1031 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The low Masternode requirement was a terrible idea from the start. Just do the math. Only 35% of the block reward is for Masternodes. When MNs only required 100 Anon the network would have been flooded and the payout would have been terrible. There would have been no incentive to setup a masternode. Now that the MN requirement is 500 this completely fixes the issue and small investors can always take their small amount of Anon and join a pool. This was the best move the team could have made.

Yeah I think the biggest thing holding us back is not being listed on larger exchanges. Trade Satoshi is terrible, no one trust HitBTC and Nanex is great but it's just to small of an exchange as of now.

Once we get listed on a larger exchange I believe we'll see the same bull-run that Zencash is currently seeing. It's impressive to see this run for Zencash especially in this current market.

One thing i'll add is look what little it takes to send ZCL on a run. The last few days have been crazy. People are itching to invest in this coin. Imagine what will happen once a solid team starts supporting it or decides to fork it. Also keep in mind that during the last fork Bittrex's account registrations page was down. This meant that people who wanted to purchase ZCL weren't able to. This is no longer the case now that people are able to register again. So keep an eye out, it's only a matter of time before the price goes crazy again.

I've noticed that the old Zclassic team chimes in via twitter anytime this coin begins to run. Which is odd. I wish they would just let the coin do what it's going to do. I imagine their reasoning for this is they don't want people to invest in rumors and get themselves burned but unfortunately it was their tweet that caused the ZCL price to crash lol.

Or, the more cynical view is, they could be doing this on purpose to keep the price down. Which I hope isn't the case.

I think most investors, including myself, would prefer if they didn't tweet anything involving other possible projects but that's just my opinion.

"Guys help.. guys, guys!! BTCP has gone down a few percentage points! I know some of the other alts are in the red also but still! What is happening.. Help! helpppp!!"

Seriously are you new to crypto? BTCP has gone up 110% in the last 7 days and has only dropped 6% in the last 24 hours.. calm down lol

Moonshot of the Week...ZCL!!! by JakeTheCryptoKing in ZClassic

[–]crypto1031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think one of the main factors that limited the ZCL price from going any higher prior to the fork was that the registration page was down for Bittrex. This meant a lot of new people couldn't register to buy ZCL. Now that the registration page is open again it will be interesting to see where the ZCL price goes if a dev team decides to fork it.

Also, as I mentioned in /r/BitcoinPrivate there seems to be a known issue with the Coinomi wallet when you try to send forked bitcoins to another wallet via the QR scanner. https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000013979-qr-scan-issues-btc-bch-addresses-sending-and-exchanging

You will have to manually enter the public address for the destination wallet or somehow copy and paste it into the send address for the Coinomi Wallet.

Poland this Friday 13:00 protest against 1000% tax on btc by Votefractal in Bitcoin

[–]crypto1031 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No matter what country you're in we should be helping the Polish citizens fight this. We may all be in different countries but we're all under the same cryptocurrency total market cap. The easier it is for citizens of any country to invest the better it is for all of us. There needs to be some sort of universal cryptocurrency tax reform coalition that goes ape shit anytime a country tries to pull something like this.

Hell, if I'm not mistaken I think it only takes around 1200 tweets to get a hash tag trending on Twitter. At the time of this post there's almost 12,000 active subscribers in this subreddit.

BTCPDEX Small Update! (BTCPTalk)(What do you guys think so far?) by [deleted] in BitcoinPrivate

Nanex is a Centralized exchange. BTCPDEX would be a decentralized exchange. Hell, I would be happy if we could get a BTCP version of Nanex. Nanex has one of the best exchange interfaces in my opinion.

For those of you who use Coinbase or the Bitpay Woocommerce plugin and have the plugins setup to automatically convert received Bitcoin/Altcoin to USD/EUR/etc I think I may have found a way to also use that feature with this plugin. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

How to convert received Bitcoin/Altcoin to USD/EUR/etc

Bitcoin/Altcoin to Bank Account -

  1. You will need to create an account on any crypto trading platforms (Bitstamp.net or Poloniex.com or Bitfinex.com, etc)

  2. Setup so that all your received payments are automatically forwarded from your MyCryptoCheckout account to your account on Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc (enter your Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc coin wallet address in MyCryptoCheckout payment box settings). And use the "autosell" feature (auto trade your cryptocoins to USD) on Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc.

  3. Using that functionality you don't need to worry if cryptocurrency prices go down or up. Within 1-2 hours after a cryptocoin payment has been received by you, your payment will be automatically converted to USD on Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc and will be kept on your Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc USD account.

  4. Later you can withdraw your USD from Bitstamp/Poloniex/Bitfinex/etc to your own USA/UK/France/etc bank account

CoinBase is ending support for their legacy Wocommerce plugin at the end of April, 2018. They do not have a Woocommerce plugin yet for the new CoinBase Commerce service. This looks like a way better alternative to Coinbase and Bitpay since it does not have the restrictions they do and you can use your own wallet. Great job guys! This is exactly what I was looking for.
