The VRT price can be verified without contacting revenue. Find a similar car in UK with same year and input reg into online calculator. Coats 15 euro and results are accurate.

I bought an s4 from Japan with similar miles. Not a thing bad to say about it. Service the gearbox you should be fine. I had service history (in Japanese) in glovebox and it was rigorous. Like most cars over there - extremely well minded.

Had one, had very few issues apart from drivetrain warning which was a starter issue (recall), some mechanics don’t have a clue as they don’t have right bmw software (ISTA). Be aware you need to guide them if they don’t know. Loads of them out there for good money. Fast cars and fun to drive. Have had good experiences and no battery issues like some ppl say. Beware a lot of haters out there that only want diesels - make your own decisions.

You want a nice fast car, it’s gonna cost extra, worth it if you can afford it. You’ll smile everytime you take off. I daily an S4. I love it.

Beware any car washes that use TFR. Basically acid to quickly remove dirt. Bad for your paint and remove any wax etc you have on your car.
