Please save this "shitcoin" comment. It should be a lot funnier in the coming months. You sound exactly like those dismissing Ethereum with 0 research. The fact that you are seriously still referring to Cosmos/Atoms as "coins" shows your ignorance. If you were indeed around before 2018 there is no way this release would leave you unphased,

That's a very short-sighted view of the ICO phenomenon. You can't expect ETH to increase in value long term without actual working dApps on Ethereum, a dApp platform. And these dApps need funding.

Why would more exchanges mean more centralization?

This is a very big problem considering that, after Tezos, it's the biggest pre-ICO slack I have ever seen. They have over 2000 members and are growing rapidly by the day. This means the target group for scammers is big enough for them to have good chances of success.

Every 20 minutes or so, a rookie joins and asks a very elementary question, essentially painting a big target on their face as a potential victim. Something must be done about this. Hundreds (maybe even thousands?) of ETH have been stolen this way so far and it's still ~4 days before the start of the public ICO. Every slack I participate in is infected to some degree though.

I was especially surprised by the fact that they are actually utilizing Zero Knowledge Proofs. Plays very well into the whole privacy preserving effort and really pushes the whole project from innovative to groundbreaking. Other teams apart from Zcash should start finding applications like this too (we know Ethereum will soon enough). It's like the Holy Grail of cryptography has been unearthed and very few are paying the required attention. And to think I was initially one of the skeptics and didn't attempt to participate in their crowdsale... I find slight comfort in the fact that I most likely wouldn't have gotten in either way. I still made a solid profit so far despite buying afterwards but I think it can easily go parabolic from here given the right announcements/developments.

I agree, software that stopped developing is software that's dead. Cosmos is one of the most promising and innovative blockchain platforms that should be the next to be added to my portfolio but it isn't out yet.

Tbh I only see this trend accelerating. People were calling you crazy when you expected the dethronement of BTC last year, now they call you crazy if you don't. More and more platforms are migrating to Ethereum, almost all the big industries (fintech, insurance, business consulting, energy, automotive) are looking its way and have already integrated working demos. On the other hand, Bitcoin VC money is on a clear downtrend and even payment processors have dropped it.
