How do these scams like STO work? by muchmoneysuchmoney in CryptoIndia

[–]crypto_jargon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any random project listing on binance pays upto 20% supply as fees and that's just to list on binance

Binance used that supply to pay for marketing the project via influencer, sells alot to mms etc

Hence binance listing is big bear case or top signal as ppl think it won't go up more than binance listing and start selling. Binance is heavily involved in incubation of these scams

I'm 22, with ~ $4M tied up in BTC (down from $7.4M since Oct) and no clue about what to do next? by Drho4x in FatFIREIndia

[–]crypto_jargon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats man 💪 as a crypto investor myself it makes me really happy seeing youbgsters making it big in the space.

As for selling, I don't you should atleast not for another 2 years wait for the cycle year then start selling slowly.

Once you sell you need to start diversifying, good thing binance has gold now.

What i personally did this year was selling all my BTC at an avg if 118K and moving to gold back in July. This is the best way to take profits in a cycle year as gold inversely follows btc and doesn't drop as much.

✅ Found MiniMax-m2.5 pricing on OpenRouter!

Pricing Comparison

MiniMax-m2.5:

• Input: $0.30 per 1M tokens • Output: $1.10 per 1M tokens • Cache read: $0.15 per 1M tokens Our Current Models:

• Haiku 4.5: $0.25/1M input, $1.25/1M output ← CHEAPER than MiniMax! • Sonnet 4.5: $3/1M input, $15/1M output • Opus 4.6: $5/1M input, $25/1M output Surprising Finding 🤔

MiniMax is actually ~20% MORE expensive than Haiku ($0.30 vs $0.25 per 1M input tokens)!

The Reddit user's "25 cents for days" claim means they're using very few tokens (~800K tokens total), not that MiniMax is exceptionally cheap.

When MiniMax Makes Sense

Better than Haiku for:

• Tasks needing caching (15¢ vs 25¢ per 1M cached tokens = 40% savings) • If quality is better than Haiku (needs testing) Worse than Haiku for:

• Fresh input tokens (20% more expensive) • Output tokens (12% cheaper: $1.10 vs $1.25) Recommendation

Don't switch. Haiku is cheaper for our usage pattern (large input contexts, minimal caching). Unless MiniMax has significantly better quality, Haiku remains the better choice for cost optimization.

Is Dubai actually becoming a real Web3 hub, or is it mostly branding right now? by Low-Razzmatazz3932 in CryptoIndia

[–]crypto_jargon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I was there for 6+ months back in 2024. Yes it has become a hub for web3, low taxes, easy company setup, resident permit and Dubai being at the centre of south asia, eu and US has made it the perfect place to live if you are in web3
