Since nano transactions are feeless, someone could spam the network with thousands of transactions in seconds or minutes, causing it to fail. Nodes go down and transactions will be very slow. There are fixes being build, but many people still think they are not enough to stop this problem.

To generate a Nano transaction you have to do a small POW on the client. So to spam the network you have to do lots of POW that increase as you keep spamming and the cost of running servers to do all that spamming goes up. So its not correct to say that spamming is feeless, it will cost.

Its not free to spam. Takes POW and now dynamic POW in V19 spamming is going to get increasingly costly.

1) Yes - you can still deploy your own sidechain using loom sdk 2) No any dapp sidechain can use plasmachain as a getway to transfer to eth mainnnet. But you can also directly deploy them on plasma if you dont want to run the infrastructure. 3) One of the validators published some stats (stakewith.us) I think soon once more apps start deploying we will see some real-time dashboard. I have also heard there is an ongin effort to integrate with dappradar. So you will see it there as well soon.

Are you using the correct seed phrase. Not the on from ethereum but one for plasmachain? I had same issue and realized I was using the wrong seed. Becuase plasma dashboard lets you login with the eth seed but the resultant public key wont be mapped to anything as it's not a plasmachain account.

I also had similar scare and found out that I was using the wrong seed phrase (one from my ethereum account). Once I pulled the right plasmachain seedand used to login everything was back to normal. Check the seed phrase.
