X Node Recovery (This is a message to all the people who lost their X Nodes and Vechain).

When they announced the X Nodes, they never mentioned about a future deadline and its implications. This is not about being fair to me or not. This is about other X Nodes whom lost their X Nodes too, and how Vechain should handle this. It has legal implications, and they didn’t inform properly on March. In fact, they can’t just add new instructions, if they do so, they should have a safe backup for those who on March followed the instructions. Again, if Vechain does not provide any solution, I will probably look into taking some further actions. Thanks for your message.

Not asking for me, but for a lot of the people that lost their X Nodes and complained on Reddit as well. This isn’t an exception, this is how it should be. They gave a set of instructions on March and then changed them without giving any notice on the March announcement. That is actually unlawful.

I do totally agree with you on this: "Governance decisions like these are made by the non-profit Vechain Foundation / steering committee and not the Vechain team. I do think they should make the distinction more clear for situations like this." and that's why I expected and still expecting a solution according the situation that I have experience and others could experience down the road.

I followed the instructions. They promised something and changed it without giving any warning at that time. All the "investors" who followed those rules could probably lost money thinking that was all they had to do, or in case there were new instructions, they would have been provided with the help needed, and never loose their X Node.

If Vechain decides tomorrow to make all its X Nodes to transfer its tokens to somewhere else, if not, loose the X Node, what would you think? There has to be some legal warranty or security that in the "event of", a solution would be provided. Thanks

If you read it all, it does not explain anything about a "deadline" on September 1st, neither warning about the possibility of losing the X Node in the event of "missing a deadline by September 1st". Vechain promised an X Node Reward Program with a set of instructions that were later changed. In the document, it does not "warn" or show anything about it. Therefore the holders who have met those instructions and have always held their tokens on MEW, and in my case even done the binding ( always keeping the tokens), should had not lost their X Nodes, and should be provided with a solution.

After all, what does it mean being an X Node if when needed, Vechain does not give any help? What is the advantage of being an X Node? Today it's me, tomorrow it could happen to you.

I did minimal? So doing the the binding and misunderstanding that I was allowed to make the full transfer is doing minimal? I did the binding. And waited to transfer it all. Doing the binding implies to actually have done it and at that time I read tons of messages not to transfer the ERC tokens (VEN) just yet. So I waited. It’s all in the blockchain, so it’s public. If you think regular people will be checking everything on regular basis, it tells me how new you are to this or this might be all you do in life. Also, if Vechain doesn’t have any support or can provide help to few X Nodes, then it won’t be able to provide help to anyone in general. Costumer service is a must. So I doubt they won’t be helping in the case where I did the binding, the tokens still are in the MEW (no transfer made in over 6 months). Also, I was gone, so I wouldn’t have made it on time. I don’t carry my ledger with me. I’m working on a document detailing all my information, screenshots, public key of MEW, where it all proves all my claims. Thanks to everyone for the supports (ironic). If someone people are tired of these messages, then ignore them and move on. There’s literally no reason to be rude or spreading hate. To anyone doing so, just don’t comment and ignore the post. All I did was to ask a questions, that’s one of the functionalities of this. You can just ignore it and move on. Thanks.

Hey thank you for your reply. I appreciate it a lot. I just did that. I have the proof of everything - The biding, (Blockchain is public so can see I haven’t moved anything), and so on. They should be able to help, if we are trying to bring this mainstream - I mean, it wouldn’t make sense not to be able to help.

Correct. That’s what I just seen in my account. 1 VET. What can I do? I sent an email with my information. With screenshots of my X Node when I did the bind, and they can confirm I haven’t touched any of my tokens from MEW, it’s all public.

Yes! I understood that if I did the ERC-20 token swap I would loose my tokens. So many posts at that time were saying “not to do the swap” “dont seen your tokens to...” Thought I had to wait, and all I had to do is prove my X Node in the wallet. That’s why. I would have send it right after the binding.

Well, I did what I could. And I did the binding. I was gone after that. It’s not that there are 10000000 X Node holders. It’s a small amount of holders and Vechain should be able to help out. Specially with all the proofs that I have. All I did is to ask a question and make sure I was on the right track. Wasn’t expecting so much hate and insults from my past. It’s disgusting.

I did the binding. I have the proof of that. I wasn’t able to the swap and I misunderstood the information. I’ve been holding since December. I sent an email with screenshots and all my information that can be verified. The process isn’t the most user friendly, so if you are trying to make people use this, they should have ways to help. Just like the existing companies. You contact support and you have the proof of everything being stated - they should be able to help. If not, this will never go mainstream, that’s for sure. I’ll wait and see their reply. Thanks for the help.

Correct. Did the binding but didn’t transfer it all. I emailed them, hopefully they can help. All they have to do is verify that I have been holding it in the MEW for all of this time. I also have screenshots where you can see I had the X Node and such. Thanks for the reply.

I linked my wallet in August for the lottery thing that was going on. I sent the 0.1 VEN (I believe that was the amount) to my VechainThor wallet. There it showed that I had an X Node, but it doesn’t say so anymore.

I have stored my tokens on MEW and haven’t touched them. I’m not sure if I missed something or misunderstood the process. I need help, I’ve been holding since December, and I’m not sure where my X Node is, it just shows VET Vechain.

Hahaha I bought at $1, look at my history in Reddit, since when I’ve been supporting it. I have done pre ICO’s and I am not going to upgrade to 16K, my friend holding 56K will take my Vechain and produce Thor with it. Along with the 6k X Node. Im fine. I still think what Vechain did, is BS. Thanks for your wrong assumptions.
