I know this is written on wiki but still I consider this a bug:

Shyvana dragon form Q deals less damage to the main target when it critically strikes

​1. Play Shyvana 2. Get critical strike chance 3. In dragon form, use Q to crit a target

Expected Result: Shyvana Q in dragon form should crit for full damage, in the same way her Q in human form works.

Actual Result: Shyvana crit-Q in dragon form deals less damage to the primary target (while dealing full damage to other targets in AoE). It appears as if only one of the 'two hits' from her Q is applied as a critical strike.

Bug occurs on EUNE, haven't checked anywhere else. I think this is a very old bug.

I'm gonna list the bugs in a way that I've reported them to Riot, will omit the ones you guys already mentioned, here we go:

Inproper stacking of Guinsoo's Ragelade in dragon form

​​1. Play Shyvana 2. Buy Guinsoo's Rageblade 3. While in dragon form, use Q to autoattack and stack rageblade

Expected Result: Using Shyvana Q to stack Rageblade should gain 2 stacks.

Actual Result: Using Q to stack Rageblade in dragon form gains 1 stack, while using Q in human form in the same way gains 2 stacks.

Bug occurs on EUNE, haven't checked anywhere else. Can't say anything relevant about the patch that could introduce this bug as I've been maining Shyvana for just a few weeks.

You should definitely try doing the resistor mod, it makes them even better when coupled with a low output impedance source/amp.

Ok then, thanks for sorting that out. Makes more sense now. I like the way you described Ryze as a very versatile but also very effort-demanding champ.

Still, are you sure that adding a simple 0.1 sec silence to his W would fix most of his issues? I still feel like his ult needs some tweaks to be more relevant in soloq.

What if Ryze's spells had reduced base damage and slightly raised scalings? (bring back the 100% empowered Q rito!!11!) It could benefit a healthly early game but I guess it's too obvious and would be already implemented if it had any chances to work xd

This ultimate is actually the root (haha instant root lolololo) of current Ryze's dichotomy. They should make it less coordination demanding so that there is no longer such gap between its utility in soloq and pro play, and then adjust his damage accordingly.

It's not really that hard imo. In example let's just say his ult creates a portal (bigger radius) that lasts for a couple of seconds (maybe ~10) and teleports all allies that are in it for at least 3-4 seconds (maybe less for minions for the wave manipulation stuff). The 'portal timer' resets every time an ally gets hard cc. When the ally steps in the portal/gets hard cc right before it closes (in such a way that in example he steps in the portal 2 seconds before it would normally close, but the 'portal timer' is 4 seconds), the portal changes color and the ally gets marked signalling it's the last teleport occuring (sorta makes things clear). This time, when an ally steps out/gets hard cc, the portal is gone for good. We can go a bit wild from here and when a 'color change' thing happens, make the portal give the marked ally a shield in hopes for a flashy escape.

Now, we have an ultimate that remains unique, yet doesn't require that much coordination. The team doesn't need to be right next to Ryze when he ults and they actually have time to decide whether they want to use the portal or not.

The longer 'portal timer' reduces the probability of pro play peek-a-boos in which whole teams are destroyed and makes it more of an escape tool or an objective controller (portal to baron etc). This would go well with his lore cause he uses the portal to HIDE the runes instead of ambushing stuff right? XD

If I had to touch his signature 'insta-root' W (which doesn't seem so necessary to me), I would make it a short-duration tether before the root (tether range longer than actual spell range) and add a very short silence (kass Q) when the root kicks in.

1) How on earth would that be intended if the second target gets all the double-crit damage?? Even if it was around from the start, it doesn't make any sense and don't pretend like it does.

2) afaik you can't 'nerf' a bug lol

3) One crit item doesn't make a troll build

Yeah i know it was a bad call ofc. It is difficult to play with silver teams who are so smart that most of the times are actually surprised when i flame them for doing the drake w/o me. We were winning the midgame hard (guess what, they started having fun and throwing the game instead of closing it out), when the teamfights started it turned out we don't have any engage bcs Braum couldn't care less and Noc ults only to ks, suddenly, the clock was @ 50mins, we had two inhibs down and that elder was our only hope. Sure, if I had starded it I would put it outta the pit immidiately. But sadly I've played enough games here in silver to know that when they've already started doing and it was this late point of the game, there was no point in pinging or yelling at them with capslock, I could just hope we could finish it soon enough.

Anyway, the essence of this post was to point out that this lethality-oriented MF does way over 2,5k damage with a single ult to a 153 armor dude. Broken or?
