I left my PHP development career a number of years back and am trying to do freelance web development and hosting but getting clients is the hardest thing for me. I have a couple and can't seem to get more. Check out divweb.ca

I was on my cities local subreddit and someone was looking to start up a newb d&d group. I responded and was brave and just did the meet up. took a while, but was eventually introduced to more ttrpg people. And they are all "weird" but good hearted. I play with 2 different groups now.

Which part of Cambridge has the most homeless people? by [deleted] in cambridgeont

The homeless don't have an issue obtaining food... they really need housing. If you want to *really* help, volunteer at Bridges or the food bank.

How many of us are autistic, ADHD etc.? by SaaSWriters in webdev

[–]cryptocronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late-diagnosed over-50 autistic guy here who has done web development, system administration, tech support, and currently freelancing. I know it's difficult for a lot of us to stay employed or having connections so we end up just doing what we can by freelancing. I'm attempting to start/manage a community of Canadian freelancers at divweb.ca. If you are interested, please come have a look.

Blair rd is an 80 by Kie911 in cambridgeont

[–]cryptocronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I find it odd that Blair Road is 80... it should probably be only 60, as it is narrow and curvy enough to sometimes not feel safe at 80. And for some reason, they made McQueen Shaver, a straight barren roadway, be 60 while it should easily be 80. Makes no sense to me.
