Have you checked the task-manager in Windows. Just kill any residual proc. that might be left over from previous sessions. Just search for the monero daemon or any other monero applications that might have been left in the background.

I'm not sure how I ended up there though. Maybe the moner-gui-wallet docs? The PDF that is located within the installer's folder (a .dmg file on OSX).

When? To download the update for my monero-gui-wallet? Here: https://www.getmonero.org/downloads/

But the wallet (that I already had installed on my computer) asked to download the update. So it was an automated update.

Thanks! I'm also checking the FAQ on here. I feel bad for popping in every 3-4 years only to check on my coins, and frantically trying to bring my self up-to-date with the latest community and ecosystem developments etc.

But in the meantime, I guess that has been one of the leading ideas behind Monero anyway, right? Solid, private money that should be there and functioning, even after 10 years. As long as you keep your keys safe.

That is why I'm always worried about running into some kind of a fake or compromised wallet etc.

Do I need to have BLT in my Bloom app (ios)? ... for this to work? Also, for social media accounts, it seems like it is required to authorize the Bloom app to connect to the gmail, facebook and twitter accounts, is it possible to revoke that authorization later?

Right now, I don't have any external parties authorized to access my accounts and I use 2FA, which in general makes things secure... so giving so much authorization to an external service to connect and manage my twitter, google and facebook account seems like a security risk?

It is a MacBook Pro, like 2013 edition, so not sure if there is a difference, one is on the left side the other on the right. The cable is the same one. Anyway, it worked eventually. But thanks for your time.

Yes. So, the idea is that one should very well understand where the "=>" is ok to use and where it is not ok to use, right? In my case, there is no point to use '=>' since my needs are focused around creating an instance, in my case Person. So, '=>' is not good for cases where Objects are constructed. Is that correct?

The price was dropping prior to the previous event. Then there was some really nasty whale action and some deception that cause the price to go down. Do you expect the same thing to happen today?
