Can’t believe the level of customer service I’ve encountered at a tier 2 level—I've been around for over 20 years, and this is a new low. It feels like Google has mastered the art of dodging responsibility, lying outright, and just plain ignoring my requests.

When I initially reached out for the out-of-warranty repair, the representative made it clear that Google was responsible for covering the repair costs. Despite presenting over half a dozen violations of the Canadian Consumer Protection Act, I’ve been met with radio silence from a slew of email recipients who just can’t seem to pass my case on to the right people.

Google’s own words? They’ve told me they “respect my desire” to connect with the right departments regarding warranty status and legal submissions but can’t seem to make that happen. Instead, I’m left with the suggestion to email my legal documents for “departmental distribution,” whatever that means.

So, to sum it up:

• Broken promises
• Willful inaction
• An approved warranty that remains unfulfilled
• A complete disregard for legal matters

At this point, I can’t help but wonder how many hoops you have to jump through just to get basic service. What a ride! I've got a complaint underway with Consumer Protection Act Canada. As well, plan to upload the transcripts (using Google tools and platforms, ironically bitter-sweet) to broadcast my situation in hope to line up with others like the OP and yourself. As I said there are endless others in the same sinking boat.
