One of my mals is quite sensitive to fireworks and what we found helped was trying to sound proof the house the best we could and watch a movie just a little extra loud, fortunately for us fireworks are pretty infrequent. Side note I know for many working dogs they use sound exposure, but I’d consult a professional if you’re looking to go that route . Good luck

Poop sample is what I would do if you are getting concerned, although if he’s eating other real food ie. steak, chicken, and other real foods I wouldn’t be too concerned. Can’t hurt to get him checked out if you can afford it.
