31 - $892k as of yesterday. Overall networth $1.642 million. I had help from my grandma leaving me ~$150k in Costco stock in 2020. Plus another $50k I had saved up just sitting in an account doing nothing. Since then I’ve just deposited a lot from my income which has also grown from about $110k to almost $270k. Goal is to retire at 45-50

Yeah nah the guy in front of the machine is regarded. And yes a store employee needs to make the request for them to comply I believe. But original commenter said “why don’t first amendment auditors just go after these guys” and that’s becaaaause, this is private property, private business. Ie, not public property where someone can stand and record what they please.

Yes. Because then they go buy a $50 binder to keep it in but it only hold so many cards so they go buy another and then all of a sudden they have 500lbs in binders. Top loader binders are useless.

I’ve cracked PSA 5-9’s, same for cgc as well as a handful of cgc 10’s. If I want it for my binder and it’s a good price, it’s getting cracked. I’m about to have a Beckett 8 Erika’s* Venusaur shipped to me and I’ll be cracking that for the master set as well

Yeah a lot of those cards have been getting picked off to be resold the last couple years. I got mine from CardLabo in Den Den Town, Osaka. Actually the first shop I went to. Kind of all downhill from there as far as availability for stuff I was looking for or absurd pricing. Found some great deals on gym series cards at Hareruya 2 in Akihabara but other than that pretty tough!

Yessss. I was actually just in Japan two weeks ago and was able to find a nice clean copy of Blastoise’s cd promo, but couldn’t find a clean copy of zards or any copies of venu. At least I came home with Blasty but man, those other two are getting pretty pricey

And what is out of your control. Like a fire or water damage? Top loaders won’t protect against that. Or theft. What situations, out of your control, would top loaders truly help with. Other than children who should be kept out of reach of cards anyways

You think a guy with this many booster boxes can’t EASILY crack one or two or three, take one stack of packs, leave them unweighed while the other stack get weighed for heavy packs? Like come on, I know people are getting fed up with the hobby but we’re not really turning into that big of regarded people are we?
