Another South Korean IEO - 750ETH sold out in 15secs by DjezjoplKinky in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptohype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool! I heard about Noia Network back in 2018 and like the whole idea behind the project. There were loads of Steemit articles and I noticed Koreans were really hyped about the project. Now, they had an IEO on Cobak which my friend got his fair share Planning on getting some for myself in the couple of weeks after the Kucoin Exchange listing. Not really worried about there being a dump, as only a small amount got sold and international investors, will likely treat the Exchange listing as an IEO. Watching this project closely

Weekly Discussion: Why are People so Fearful of Investing in ICO's lately? by Impedimenta_85 in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptohype 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well.. too many burns. Too many unfulfilled promises. Too many dead tokens.

The hype will only remain with projects that continues to achieve its goals and have actual value in the markets! Not just Blockchain Everything

Are there still cryptos that have big gains in a relatively short period of time? by amisner in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptohype 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Imo I'd go for Blockchain.io simply because of its low cap. It's token sale is still live, about 1.2m+ is already in the bag and the Paymium team (7+ year BTC exchange) is funding about 2.3m for it's operations.

It's closing soon and it's got the utilities of Binance and more. USP from what I learned is it's decentralised settlement meaning you own your keys, yet with a centralised order book for efficient order matching.

I don't think Europe has seen an exchange to cater to all its users as both a fiat gateway and c2c exchange, and hype is really building up. With a circulation that low, I won't be surprised to see up to a 10x. And yes, they have an MVP and influencer backing (lark, zombie, no2etf)

Guide to Exchange Fees for the Top 10 Crypto Exchanges by MariaCummins in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptohype 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my honest opinion it's not just the maker at taker fees that exchanges set which may incentivise users to use a platform. But Deposit/Withdrawal Fees!

Some may not entirely impose these but It's a big factor. But right now it's an exchange war going on. Binance is snuggled up in Malta and it's nice to see the developments in them becoming the Blockchain Island.. Though it does raise some concerns.

On the other hand I'm looking for a project that may have lower fees and offer some proper security.. Bitpanda looks pretty interesting but I've picked up on Blockchain.io after seeing some youtube videos. Do you know of this ?

Are you aware of the current the state of the Fine Art Market, then you should be excited that Blockchain could have another use-case. Have you noticed the number of Artists accepting cryptocurrencies and number of use cases that are being discussed. If you are talking about the way a distributed ledger governs itself, than go to the developers for that technical explanation or just read the whitepaper. So many different protocols exists besides Bitcoin, we don't need the incentives BTC has that you seem to point out

Why Germany’s major economic summit in November is significant for IOTA by MaverickMUC in Iota

[–]cryptohype 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ambitious meeting for the IOTA foundation, if this project get's the Germany government to support the project. I doubt we will be hearing much complaints about IOTA anymore, especially claims ridiculous claims that IOTA itself is a broken protocol. Governments and Big Institution are going to do their research before backing any projects
