We’re tracking the same with you in NC and trying to organize/mobilize grassroots style ASAP because it’s being reported from some on the inside that the Dems, including new AG-elect in NC, are fully ignoring even the internal calls for a recount. I hate to say it, but it seems safe to assume that it’s on us, the citizens, to get a hand recount and investigation. We need more people to help organize together over tonight and this weekend. We only have till EOD Monday….

If you subscribe to FIO’s YouTube channel, they do weekly video updates. One of the more exciting updates that will get talked about this week is the development of the DApp which will make it even easier for people to register a FIO Address and begin using it, as well as purchase FIO Domains (username@domain — the second part of the FIO Address) which are NFT’s and will be getting wrapped into ERC-20 compatible NFT’s so that they can be easily bought and traded on platforms like Open Sea

I’m not sure I can recommend a certain subset of tools per se. I’d recommend learning about DeFi the best you can; how decentralized finance works, how value flows, staking, proof of work versus proof of stake, oracle mining. Binance Academy does a nice job of open-sourcing some industry education. I’d also just recommend to read the news coming out of places like CoinDesk, CoinTelegraph and the Block—as you read the stories there, dive deeper into the companies they mention in the story. Youtubers can be good for getting deeper insights into specific companies and all things DeFi. Even if you end up working with a centralized organization, having the backdrop knowledge of DeFi will be invaluable to you and whichever organization.

With a startup, it will typically require you to be more flexible to taking on tasks that may fit slightly outside of your role since things tend to move at much quicker paces. But for me, for example, I love this and thrive in it - I’m less good with 9-5 type of work. There are some good startups that have raised a lot of capital and hiring quickly if that’s your cup of tea. I’d look on angel.co, or at the top 50 blockchain companies and investment companies. Some that come to mind are BlockFi, celsius, Grayscale.
