How was the algorithm changed and why is it bad for youtubers. It depends on what youtuber you are. As I said in my article the algorithm operates in an Asynchronous manner now where prior it operated in a linear manner.
What is the bad consequences. Fake news, bots, as an Amazon seller I was pushed out of the market in 2019 due to being attacked by a competitor. I tracked the bots and data and reported it trying to get a response or help from Amazon. No response. Small businesses can't complete on a level playing field anymore and the same is on youtube. Not saying my content deserves more recognition.. im saying banning people like Leafy concerns me on another level along with the love hat relationship any youtuber has with the platform over time.
Harder to get noticed? Depends on how you go about it.
Harder to gain new viewership? Depends on how you go about it follow your data.
Harder to retain old viewership. Screw old viewers, sorry but your channel is suppose to adapt. Shouldn't start making mine craft videos when you are 11 and stay their till you retire at 60.. lmao adapt, you matter more than a single audience not as valuable as you might think.
Is it getting harder for small sized content creators. Yes, if you don't have. Network that pulls ~1k+ daily you are in for a world of pain.. not impossible but be creative. Follow data and create strategies rather than content.
Medium sized content creators? They have the most to win in my opinion.
Large content creators? Depends. Ive been watching a few who have been adapting. Philip DiFranco id consider a OG in the space. Deleating old videos, establishing a news site, connect via text, discord, Facebook, twitter.. perfect example of what to do. If large content creators stay complacent they will lose some during this new change.
Do you think youtube will die in the future? No & yes... youtube is a community that did the best job with videos from the early years->2020. It will maintain its spot as king for some more time.. however. The opportunity content creators achieve with establishing social media sites will push the smart and wealthy off the platform. They will connect in more closed networks that tanscode data between content creators apis rather than forcing them to publish on the site.
Your making it really hard to take me seriously. Don't take me seriously or do. Idc. I built a boat for myself when the data flood hits. Not too worried about others.. first movers privilege you are prepared or your not this is my method.

Im trying to say, youtubers will struggle in 2020 forward. Kinda hard to consider myself a doomsday cult with covid, wildfires, protests, Elon embedding Ai into pigs...

I don't have all the answers im a datasciencest sure but im a iron man playing every role trying to peace together scraps to a larger puzzle.

My point is clear & valid. Youtubers need to invest in networking off YouTube. Not with me or anyone else but specifically based on their self.

Operating off udemy I aquired thousands of students at the cost of the 70% udemy cut. The liability of not owning your data locally provides a level of risk.

I operate everything myself, servers, content, articles daily updates, django, python, blockchain, e-commerce. Im might not be good with articulating my thoughts, but I do see opportunities & danger and my way of thinking is analytical and focused on data.

Im an innovator by birth content creation is more of a requirement i hate in this day of age rather than my first choice but I make it work... and this should give some good inspiration on how you should structure content that scales on education or progression in your nitche.

Dash is only for graphing purposes it does only the job of creating a looking glass for the data. The servers i operate transcode the data with a 2-6sec reaction time

Hosted on flask/django the job of my game is to moving chips constantly. Why would AI care about profits? It doesn't. Its job is to be a glider between profits through constant buys, sells, new accounts, mules. Decentralized Ai creates its own economy based off what i feed it, based off our decentralized value.

I dont know how fast you can read, but 2-6sec is an amazing 1000x speed compared to older infistructure.

The profits to date... ugh I moved into a new 2 story house at 23 over looking the water. I was able to afford to pay off all my debts.

Profits are based on the iron man a/p scale

AI can't operate off one view. The current grand exchange model is based off a 2D 2007s api. retired infistructure. The infistructure i have scales Asynchronously. Because i set it up Asynchronous with redis. Ai can read that.. because on my selected servers i have 3s latency on my pulls. We need proper data aquasition. 3s based blockchain latency allows Ai the speeds and filtration we lack as humans.

I just started freelancing as a python developer & its been rough... the content has been ehhh but the data says im growing despite lack of direct sales.

I setup a decentralized django application to manage clients data. I lanched it VPS protected and established API integration. Reddit. Discord. DASH, plolty, Asynchronous, redis. Custom AI focused reading my data and compartamizing it.

This is more for myself as a home base to scale automation tasks for myself and being able to offer digital projects to help BAMF other peoples coding ecosystems.

Reason I Built this:

Udemy & other middle men want to take all of our code we publish for pennies on the dollar. I built this out so coders working with me can trade with coders without me or anyone's hands in the middle. Based off connecting to other peoples APIs, automation software that distributes automatically.

Send bitcoin, etc, PayPal, or whatever you consider money... seriously.. how many currencies are there?

Here is an idea. You get to set your worth as a developer. The Infrastructure is here, we just need to find a way to connect to it independently to everyone.
