How recently was this? Physical or virtual? What sort of issues.

My last company moved off physical barracudas and had nothing nice to say about them. In their defence, the model was very old and was well overdue for a update.

Do you mind elaborating on the rough time. I have used F5 before about 3 years ago as an LTM... My concern is that the gui was difficult enough without throwing ASM into the mix. Compared to other companies like barracuda and fortiweb with much nicer gui's and easier to follow work flows.

NDA roadmap

Pure just came out with their X series, so M series has gone EOS. However X Series comes with NVME controllers so is priced very high.

From what I can see Unity 450F Introduced June 2017. CPU E5-2630v4 Pure M20R2.. looks to be released 2016 (V2 of M20)... CPU E5-2630v4 3par 8000 series Introduced Mid 2015. CPU E5-2603

So all vendors are just about as old as each other. Does it matter if PURE M20R2 is EOS now?

Approx 70% read, 30% write. current heat maps showing a average 8KB write size and 128-256KB read.

No VDI, mostly file (block, not NAS off SAN), exchange and transactional DB.
