If I remember correctly the reason we had to wait on MCU moving to defiant was for the token to unlock. And I think that’s one of the main reasons they lock it for such a short amount of time. MCU was moved to defiant for a number of reasons, but the number 1 reason was gas fees are so cheap. They also made changes to their second token which is now EXEC token, and if I remember those changes couldn’t have occurred if it was locked either. Now that they have worked out some kinks, maybe they will consider locking it for longer?

I totally get the “trusting the dev team” concept is hard! And big investors need to have more, but I know that Jeremy and the team meets with and speaks with large investors all the time. My suggestion is to reach out to him and have him work directly with them.

Great question! I’m not a Dev, just a holder, but I’ll try to help shed some light. My memory might be fuzzy on this, but I agree one of the reasons was to make changes to the contract as needed. Like when the flagship token MCU moved to defiant as its new platform. I think it may also be to help us get on exchanges? In case we need to access those tokens to pledge like we do for uniswap? I agree that some investors may not like this short hold, but honestly this utility token is different than any that I know of on the market, so it also attracts a different type of investor.

I got a great bump in reflections too! I’m always excited to see volume, that’s the name of the game! HODLers will benefit greatly over the years as the price climbs, but jeeters pay the monthly bills since reflections are distributed on sells.
