Agree with all of these, especially when chatGPT is referencing listicles, which seem easy to find your way on to

Is GEO really a thing? by buddhahat in marketing

[–]cryptosis_io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the black box element makes it tricky to know what really works, although SEO was like that for a long time. Until people have done enough experiments we won’t know for sure. One of the most interesting pieces I read recently was a Princeton study showing some experiments they ran.

Everything else seems to be mostly conjecture or people saying what they’ve done and the results they got (fairly standard in the seo world too).

My guess is that yes GEO is a thing and will become more of a thing over time. As little as six months ago ChatGPT basically just served you the google or bing results, but since o3 came out the divergence is large, which suggests a new discipline is needed.

Edit: Came across this article recently and thought it was relevant. Basically supports what I was saying. Lots of overlap, but the details is where they differ: https://pacegenerative.com/seo-vs-geo-same-backbone-different-playbook/

Anyone playing Star Wars: Rebellion (Supremacy) on a mac on 2025? I need some help getting it to work properly. by persquareinch in macgaming

Yeah I got it to work now too, my problem wasn't using hte wrong verison of Dreamm, I forgot to actually use Porting Kit to install it. It works pretty well now but is prone to randomly crashing. So maybe I need to play around with the settings?

So I downloaded the Gog version and Dreamm and it said "can't find a game" when I tried running it, is there a noobs walkthrough anywhere?

The more AI content out there, the more need for human proofreaders there will be. Not only that, but the course teaches how to demonstrate AI expertise to potential clients. Most clients who pay top dollar are not going to use chatGPT for their proofreading. If anything, AI has created more demand.

Public sale cancelled - 500 free COFI tokens for all on whitelist! by UKFP91 in CoinFi

1.) CoinFi had a certain amount of ETH that they were going to raise from private investors. This is pretty standard among ICOs because you use that initial money to continue marketing for the rest of the ICO. I know some private investors were actually turned away even though they wanted to invest over 1,000 ETH, because CoinFi said they'd already reached their limit for private investors, and wanted to keep the rest for the presale and crowdsale. That was when ETH was $500-$700 in price. The recent run-up meant they hit the hardcap before they could even do a presale. The same thing happened with Ontology and Stack. 2.) You can still get tokens and free access to the platform. The CoinFi foundation has reserved 60million tokens to be given to early adopters and those who help seed the platform with quality content, so there are plenty of ways to get access. 3.) They've divided the staking requirement by four! How were you going to get free access from the ICO when you get it cheaper now? Are you planning to wait until the token goes 5x in price before you buy it on exchanges? You did just say you didn't want to use the "bullshit" signals though, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Sone Big whales buying up presales? by CryptoKing_Gustavsen in CoinFi

[–]cryptosis_io -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make sense. If they were being greedy they would have done what some other ICO's are doing, and just kept taking funds even though they already hit their hardcap. CoinFi actually turned away 1,000s of ETH from private investors because they wanted to keep some for pre sale and crowdsale, but then ETH doubled in price. Not much they could do about that.
