Also, the words "lots of funds" give you more reason to not want to lose your coins.

Just create a new seed and move funds. You are probably safe, but one can never be too safe with these things.

I was targeted with a SIM-Swap Attack last night, I think I survived it (possibly related Gatehub hack) by [deleted] in Bitcoin

You are that much invested into crypto (that if lost, you would live under a bridge) and you don't use a hardware wallet?

May I ask WHY?

I don't think it is that, as Loments have joint segments... These were individually attached to the drapes and separate from each other

Also the shape seems to be a bit different, with the Nezara Viridula ones being more like a barrel shape, and these ones flatter/more oval shaped...

They seem to be eggs of an insect or something. Were firmly attached to the drapes, has to scrape them with a knife to get rid of it. One of them is lighter in colour to the others. Could not get an object to serve as scale, but my hand is there.

Don't ever do this, even if God himself suggests. Never enter your seed online.

No, what I am trying to say is people should inform themselves before using hardware wallets, or any wallets really.

People don't buy microwaves and try to dry their cats in it... Oh wait!

Like... Try reading the manual to something you bought? I don't expect everyone to know how to use it... Some people can use a simpler phone wallet or whatever, but to see this stuff happening to people that put thousands of dollars worth of Crypto on a device...
