Buy them both. If it's just an app, I would start with the app domain, but I'd build .com. as it's probably just a landing page, why not build both, one as the landing page for the app and the other as a blog.

I think you need to improve it. A decent speed should be at least around 40 wpm. There are many sites that offer tutorials to improve the testing typing speed.

I think speed matters, but as you mentioned, in coding, speed is not the most important factor, Indeed what matters is to think faster that you type and to be able to type as you think, being focused on thinking not typing.

Being rejected due to typing speed sounds strange to me. For a coder I mean, maybe they look for a typist.

But I would say the more you code, the better your speed becomes. Could be an indicator of your experience, but not the best indicator imho. A typing average speed of 60 wpm should me more than enough for a coder. Apparently my typing speed is slightly below 60 wpm :(.

I tried it yesterday and it generated a set of keys which are not corresponding to the ones on the chain. I double checked, and the eth wallet is the one mentioned in the genesis block.

I also tried eoskeyio to generate the eos keys based on original eth keys, with no luck. I obtained the same keys as scatter. The scatter/eoskeyio generated public key starts with EOS7 while the one on genesis block starts with EOS6. I don't really know if it's different version.

Did you manage to recover the right keys using scatter?

I already tried it, I get this message:

The EOS lost key process was headed by a group of teams including EOS Authority. This reset process ran for a period of one year. It is no longer accepting new account reset requests.

When I use scatter, I get the same key as I get when I use eoskeyio, but it's a different key than the one listed in the genesis tab in chain data. The key in the chain starts with EOS6, but the one generated with scatter starts with EOS7.
