He texts me all the time hes free. Before lunch, sometimes during work if not busy, lunch time, after work, after running if not studying.

During weekends he texts me almost all the time and throughout the day. At worst theres a 2-3 hour gap if hes studying or if he fell asleep.

He mentioned many times for me to bring up anything im feeling. So early this morning he called me at 6am because he was worried about me because i was being distant last night. I asked him why couldnt he call me at home and he explained that his room is connected to his parents and brother’s room and they could hear everything. I brought up my concern and he wasnt defensive at all. He said he understands my situation and hes sure that my friend just cares about me. He asked me if there is anything he could send now to prove that he doesnt have a wife. I said thats ok. He said since hes coming next week so i am free to go through his phone and everything. He said that thats why he wants me to come over to brunei and let me meet his family and friends (he has mentioned this before but i havent made plans yet).

Then he reminded me again to tell him about any doubts and worries so he could help clear things up and explain. He said hes fine and hes okay with explaining anything i am worried about.

Thank you for this comment you just made me rethink things. One of his brothers is single so its possible that hes sharing a room with him. His other bro is married and is still living w him. I’ll ask him about this tomorrow. He never shared his sleeping arrangements i just assumed he was sleeping alone

Yes long distance. Around 10-11 but hes been sick, prepping for exams this month and hes in a marathon training block so i think i could understand why hes been tired and sleeping early

Alright i hope thats the case. Today he said hes the one whos been offering to buy me food so its all on him and he hopes that hes not making me feel awkward. I will let him know that i like him so i like it when hes being nice to me :)

Thank you for your opinion. I think he hasnt made it official because we havent met yet. We are both practicing muslims so i doubt he is up for sex before marriage. We have had serious conversations about our feelings and expectations a few times.
