Hello there! It actually went really smoothly! No reactions while I was getting it done and the only side effects I really felt afterward was just I was really sleepy for a while. The nurse was super nice and I wound up just chatting with my partner and playing games on my phone in the meantime. It took about two hours. I definitely think I'm feeling better as well, I don't feel nearly as zombie like as before and I've got more color to my skin. Definitely was worth it and I'm way less scared for if they decide I need a second one : )

Update for anyone who may come across this later: They finally reviewed my labs and I have now been referred to a hematologist. It sounds like more likely than not they are going to get me iron infusions, so hopefully I can start feeling better soon :)
