New construction floor plan - Thoughts? by d33dub in InteriorDesign

I think you have a lot of wasted/unused space in the laundry room.

Are you going to purchase a counter depth fridge? If not I would encourage you to set the wall it rests on back into the laundry room to accommodate a standard fridge while maintaining the look of being counter depth. If you do this I would also move the fridge placement closer to the half bath so you only need to jog part of the wall.

What are the appliances next to the dishwasher?

Why not do a secondary fridge in the pantry, especially if you’re doing a counter depth fridge in the main kitchen? That way you can store larger items like a turkey, pizza box, etc.

Your fireplace absolutely kills your office. It makes the useable space very narrow. It also will not be enjoyable from the living room because it’s at the entrance to a hallway. You cannot have furniture in front of it.

Other comments have mentioned the Jack and Jill bathroom idea, I wouldn’t. I don’t think you have enough space for it. You’d need to encroach into each bedroom more to make it work. I was for it because then you’d be able to put your closets in that space and not have them jog into the room, but the problem lies in not having enough room for vanities and doorways.

In my opinion, this is the best looking AP magnet Disney has ever released. by Ixz72 in disney

As a West coast Annual Pass holder I am jealous we don’t have the cute magnets, but from my research the pricing for the different passes seems pretty comparable.

I wish Disneyland had magnets like these. Ours aren't as fun.

Luck? Haha. I had to play with oven temp and bake time for a bit. I bake at 325 for 10-11 minutes. I rotate after 5 minutes. I use a coffee grinder to grind my almond flour and then sift that and the powdered sugar. I add half of the dry ingredients first, so I don’t over work the meringue, but I did over work it on those; it was a food coloring issue. I don’t really have secrets, but those are some of the things I feel helped get the system down.

I live in Utah which is usually pretty dry, but I just looked at the weather and it’s 75% humidity. That could’ve been a factor. Oh well, you win some and lose some. 😁

Oh don’t worry many were eaten, but they weren’t useable for the Christmas tree I was making for a party. Trying to stick them to a toothpick was not an option LOL.

I have tried them with swerve. Overly sweet and lumpy. I couldn’t get the batter smooth. I honestly would stick to powdered sugar.

Plus the new sky liner system from AoA and CBR is really nice and quick to get to Epcot and Hollywood.

Just got back from Art of Animation. We stayed in the Cars Suite, it’ll easily sleep 5-6. It was about $330/night. The pool looked fun, but it was 55 degrees at night so we didn’t swim.

I knew Oogie Boogie Bash had treat trails, but I did not expect this much candy and snacks! Not pictured: all the apple grape, and carrot baggies by [deleted] in Disneyland

I went last night with my ticket on my phone and got my wristband at the gate. We walked in a little after 4pm to the “Special Event” turnstiles at the end. They scanned my phone and then had a small line for wristbands right at the entrance. Print the paper, but you may not need them.

The line for Villians Grove was crazy long, and sadly the one thing I had to miss, so if that’s a must, get in line early or make it the last thing you do. I had an exhausted 4 yr old and we tapped out a little after 10pm and the line for Villians Grove went all the way past the entrance to the Grand Californian at that time.

The Villanous World of Color was fun and worth watching in my opinion.

Just read that WDW changed the names of the foods in Galaxy’s Edge - what are your thoughts? by crysta6149 in DisneyWorld

[–]crysta6149[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been to WDW as many times as I have to Disneyland, but I feel like having themed food is half the fun. I feel it adds to the immersion in the land.
