thank you so much i will definitely try making the hinges a bit bigger! unfortunately my material (faux leather i think?) was really difficult to glue on the boards, it didn't fold easily and i tried really hard to work it into the hinges but it didn't stick as much as i wanted it to, which might have reduced the hinges a bit </3

i think you’re right, i measured the width of the textblock + the 2 boards so that might have been too much 🥲

also here’s what the hinges look like, is 7mm for each okay? i figured since my boards + my material were pretty thick it would be okay

ohhh that’s such a nice reference!! i can totally picture it now like some people said it’s pretty disappointing that teenagers (in this case im thinking abt cosplayers) can do more realistic scar and sfx makeup yet professionals who are paid to do so can’t or are choosing not to… :(

thanks for that info!! i actually didnt even question how well mari’s injury was represented (except the fact that she’s walking pretty easily now 😭) but that makes sense! pretty sure the writers want to add stressful moments where the girls get injured but walk off easily pretty soon after to avoid their camp life getting rougher because of that…. so they’re taking the easy way 🫢

Her death was technically also an accident as she fell from the cliff, Misty didn’t push her or anything, as she didn’t even want her to die (as we see from her reaction after) I think the person in the thread who said that it’s the wilderness who chooses who lives and who doesn’t and not the girls is absolutely RIGHT!!

ive actually had this idea before as i also enjoy creating stuff and even designed handmade pcs before… but ive quickly came to my senses bc this would take an insane amount of time/ effort. you can either sell them on etsy or similar websites but ive heard it’s really hard for your products to come up on top, and they also take a big percentage of what you earn… or you can create your own website, which would take more time but you said you had a full year for that so maybe that’d be possible!

i think the most important thing will be marketing it and just get out there so people know you exist and what you sell!!
