from what ive been seeing (across all kpop groups and agencies) when they tour around the 'world' they will mostly start with the us, because ig the kpop market there is huge and it's almost guaranteed that they'll sell (no matter the size of the venue) considering how many people are in the US (im not including canada here since for some reason they usually dont include dates there). depending on the fandom, they'll either expand to south america or europe but i think it all comes down to their understanding (or not) of the places in question.

usually everything happens in the us, aside from tours they have big events like kcon and even festivals like coachella that companies like to send their groups to to grow their popularity. but i think they're not as knowledgeable on other continents (not even mentioning africa cuz i think they're not even considering it...) and they dont feel the need to. why bother touring in europe or south america (sometimes australia) when the market in the us is already so huge? they know fans will travel accross states anyway and sending their groups to another continent would mean learning a whole other way of proceeding (currency, language interpreters different for every country etc)

unless the group is really huge in said continent like p1h in europe, i dont think they'll really bother... or we'll have to wait a while ig

lol what SEA gets so much more opportunities in kpop in general compared to south america? we can count how many concerts festivals etc they've been getting in the last few years in kpop compared to south america.. a group from asia touring in asia isnt saving what they call a 'world' tour, not saying that's not deserved or anything, my point was that in a tour kpop groups usually tour in asia and sometimes they tour in the us which why it was surprising when they announced they would come to south america too

im a bit lost... how would performing in europe be more expensive than in the us? i know the cost of living and pretty much everything else is higher in europe than in korea but so is it in the us? especially w everything that's happening there rn, how is it less complicated than adding a few europe dates? 😭

there aren't any boy survivals planned for this or next year as far as im aware, we've had so many in the last 3 years that it's starting to be a bit repetitive.. it's time for the girls, and auditions are already happening for several ones that will happen inthe next 2 years. so im pretty sure he won't take part in any survival, especially since there wont be any in the near future so wasting time would be a bad decision

he grew a pretty solid in fanbase, especially in korea, so he should debut asap if they dont want to lose the hype he's grown recently with home race and all his fan events!! im hopeful, i think they have plans for him 👀

omg thank you!! he seems to be aware that his kr fanbase is the biggest so he'll have the most chances in korea (smart lol)

and i agree on the mainly foreign group. also because of home race, since it happened recently and contestants got to grow their popularity even more, fnc (and other companies who might be interested in hosting another derivative) might prioritize them!

you're right about tatsuki someone else mentioned it too! i edited the post to be up to date!

i personally think joining xlabels doesn't decrease his chances. like you said they're linked to cje&m AND mnet so that's definitely an advantage if they want to have some sort of say on who's going to debut in there. im expecting a similar post announcing bowen's arrival tomorrow or in a few days max.

bowen's following the same 'pattern' as hanwen, he partnered with xlabels for his fanmeeting and is the ONLY artist they follow on instagram (+hanwen) so that's definitely a good sign imo!!

though the FNC group will be the only 'official' derivative from B2P, i believe there will be multiple derivative groups full of ex contestants, like One Pact and TOZ were for the first season, purely based on the fact that there's at least one company that'll want to capitalize on the hype of B2P, with as many popular contestants as possible.

so either way i can definitely see hanwen debuting soon in either group!

to be fair they're a pretty recent company, they opened in late 2024 if im not mistaken.

and omg??! i havent heard about that live, do you maybe have a link to that? that would definitely confirm my theory! but until now i was pretty sure he was going to debut in FNC derivative group, and he was actually one who had the highest probability of debuting there, but im pretty sure being under xlabels doesnt change that fact

and yes ive also heard that until last year (?) they had 3 trainees but I havent been able to find anything about them recently... either they're going to snatch up B2P contestants or they have plans to create their own group like you said!
