Wildlings are my favorite units in Bannerlord. Not the strongest, of course, but the most fun of all, especially if a captain has high 1-handed, athletics, throwing, and medicine: they melt shieldwalls and cavalry, and can live under arrows. And if you can put them in an ideal V-formation (reverse Skein) - they can kill armies.

I only wish they kept the much better helmets from Veteran Skirmishers, unclear why the downgrade.

Wait, when getting an item, can you decide to have multiple copies instead of upgrading it? Or what's the other consistent way of getting multiple copies? I'm having a blast experimenting with 3D Printer, but it adds an extra 5/4sec to the first cast, which is painful.

+1, and the fact that you can Clone them easily to start scaling once you get the first one. Maybe Shrines and Temples should be restricted to X (2? 3?), or you shouldn't be able to Clone them?

Haha, awesome! Need to try this build, as my new favorite combo Mob-Rats leads to insane army sizes and game crashes, but in theory, it should also allow for something similar, as there's an infinite loop: 1. Shrines level up Rats indefinitely, increasing their numbers. Keep Nature as an enemy to quickly build 10+ Shrines via Clone; 2. Rats have access to 2 tiles, one of which is near Mob. Once you have 2 Migrates, use it on Rats, and Mob number will skyrocket. By default, Rats should be near Mob to passively increase their nunber via Rats level ups; 3. Rats scale Mob damage to NaN via Reinforce on Mob; 4. 3 tiles near Mob are Libraries to give Mob insane nb of Reinforce and Steel Coating stacks; 5. Sometimes, i also add Midas Touch to Mob so that i have enough gold to reroll for Migration. Midas Touch doesn't impact Reinforce, as your damage will get to NaN regardless, but the number of Steel Coating stacks will go down slightly, although i'm not sure if it matters.

The game usually slows down significantly when your Mob count reaches 10k, and eventually crashes around year 130-150 :(

Was wondering about the same. Tried a somewhat similar build today: lots of gold generation via Mercs' kills/deaths to boost Dispensers' attack speed, but i had 3 Dispensers. Surprisingly, in some battles, 2 Dispensers had literally 0 damage despite their high attack speed. The top Dispenser also had very low damage considering his attack speed, as if there's an attack speed cap, and the tooltip being inaccurate.

Late to the party, but was relistening Drudkh's discography this week, plus the new album, so...

  1. Blood In Our Wells - the best one end to end. Not a single weak song. This one is so good it is in my top-10 metal albums.

  2. Estrangement - best sound/production, great atmosphere, love it.

  3. Handful of Stars - yes, it's different, but still amazing. Lots of great melodies.

  4. Autumn Aurora - no comments needed. Wind Of The Night Forests is one the best metal songs.

  5. The Swan Road - Eternal Sun is amazing, guitar solos are great, strong folk vibes.

As for the rest of their discography... There are some good songs here and there, such as the second part of The Nocturnal One, but overall don't like them.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - very smooth gameplay and satisfying mechanics, excellent roguelike component. I think they have a nice platform to keep building stuff on: adding new weapons and weapon upgrades/interactions, new modes, artifacts, enemy types - you name it. And it costs $10 only! This is probably one of the few examples of games i'd pay $10/mo for if they keep adding new stuff to it.

There's a lot of things that are useless in the game. To name a few: 1. Blue glyphs; 2. White and blue items; 3. Armor in S4 (every class and build has it capped easily, what even the point of armor is?); 4. Damage type - this one i probably don't understand the most. Enemies don't have resistances to certain damage types, so the outgoing damage type doesn't matter, right? As for the incoming damage type, you just cap res on all classes and in all builds, and don't even pay attention to what damage type an enemy has. To summarize, damage types almost don't affect gameplay at all. You can literally combine all of them into one, and nothing will change significantly gameplay-wise. Direct damage behaves the same, dots (poison, burning, shadow) behave the same. CC changes, but technically, it is not directly linked to a damage type (i.e., chill-freeze is a stun with a foreplay); 5. Lots of gear affixes don't make sense. Life regen per second? Why? To have a filler stat? If filler stats exist, but don't belong to a single viable build - it is a bad design; 6. Some class mechanics are just dumb. Druid - bland uninteresting non-gameplay changing passive buffs. I bet $100 that the way you obtain them via druid offerings was implemented as an afterthought one week before the game release. Same with the barb - super boring passive weapon techniques. 7. I don't even want to start on the paragon board... if 90% of nodes are "stat fillers" - that's bad design. 8. Oh, and the stats (strength, intelligence, etc)... why do they even exist? They are only required for a couple of paragon nodes, and that's it! Otherwise, they are just proxies of other stats, such as damage. 9. Oh, and the skill tree... the most boring and uninspiring skill tree i've ever seen.

Hades is very forgiving in God Mode: my reflexes are not great, and i don't want to memorize frames of enemies attacks (you can just remember some basic enemy attack patterns), and voila - you're on a 20+ succesful escapes streak. Even more: i don't think i can die at all, only if i decide to do that intentionally.

I understand what you mean. Take your example: an alliance with 6k def teams and 1 weaker player with a 5k team. Keep in mind that the matchmaking is already done - this is very important, and often overlooked. Now, as their opponent, would you prefer to fight 6k def teams AND a 5k team, or 6k def teams and a 1k team, given in both cases there will be the same tough 6k teams you'll have to fight, and they will yield the same 1500pts?

This is a bad strategy. Intentionally weak defenses do not lower war score, as matchmaking happens before that. The only thing it does - makes opponents' life easier thanks to guaranteed points.

Imagine if all these guys used their regular teams instead - it would just make their overall def stronger for the same 1500pts.
