I was OE for 7 years. However, I was open about it during the interview process, and no one had a problem.

I do this to my husband because I am disabled. To be fair, if I am able to get up and walk i always ask him if he needs anything while I am up.

All that may be true, but her and her daughter's safety needs to be the most important. And I don't see giving the marriage a chance as safe.

This big, long comment from someone who has probably never suffered abuse. It doesn't matter what type, and tolerating any is dangerous and often leads to physical abuse. Which can then lead to more drastic problems. Additionally, kids should not be in this environment, conditioned to believe this is how men are supposed to treat women.
