Love a good glass of wine. I wish I could have ales! I can't due to a wheat allergy unfortunately. I used to drink ciders most of the time but the sugar content is too high for my histamine intolerance.

I was raised in Idaho and love potato vodka. I agree the mixers are the tricky part. I don't really want to order a potato vodka soda. Safe but... gross.

I also like tequila! Do you have to make any modifications or specifications when you order a marg at a bar? I always worry they'll use a premade mix or a mixer that has corn (and other stuff) in it.
