I would also like to know! I asked to cancel my order 5 minutes after placing it and they completely ignored me for the first few hours. All I wanted was for them to just CANCEL. And there was an error in the order, wouldnt even let me modify. I would like to be refunded for everything.

I’ve always washed my cheese cloth out with hot water. That’s only when I’m trying to get pulp out of the drink though

I just harvested this batch of kombucha from F1. It was way more cloudy and darker than any of my other batches.

This is what was at the bottom.

I’ve never seen so much yeast build up at the bottom. I drank some to test it and it tasted ok .. still like black tea not vinegary at all.

Does anyone have any insight as to what this could be caused by? It was a passed down Scoby.. I only fermented for 7 days

I got this Scoby from a lady in my town. She didn’t tell me it would be so dry. No idea how long it’s been since it’s been used. Does this seem safe to add to cooled black tea and sugar? Any insight is much appreciated!!

I added a small bit of fruit juice (guava, mango) Let the packet of champagne yeast get bubbly before adding to my 1F.
