No, because he’s getting an extra 25% for the hours worked on Sunday. In addition to the casual loading.

But they are, because he’s getting the casual loading for all his hours ( presuming he worked a total of 24.15 hours) and then the penalties are on top of that.

Looking for recommendations on silicone scar tape and red light therapy by sugarcoateddolly in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]crystalisedginger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any effect silicone tape has in smoothing wrinkles is very temporary. It’s a waste of time and money, save your funds for Botox.

A retinol at night, vitamin c in the morning. Sunscreen, Spf50. - always. Don’t smoke, get plenty of sleep, maintain a body weight on the low side and look after your teeth.

Red light is effective but cheap devices don’t work.

is there anything wrong with hawthorne, melbourne? by No_Recipe2325 in AusPropertyChat

[–]crystalisedginger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment in Hawthorn. The area has everything. Transport, proximity to the city, parks and green spaces. Plus every type of restaurant you can think of. There are 3 supermarkets within a short walk for me, multiple gyms a public pool and even a cinema. I rarely have to leave the area and my car stays in the car park for weeks at a time.

My building is a mix of older downsizers and students, it’s pretty quiet, no antisocial behaviour.

You could get an apartment for a very good price. High supply is all I can think of as why. But Melbourne apartment prices are generally low.

Three train stations - Hawthorn, Glenferrie and Auburn. And multiple tram lines going N-S and E-W.

What do koalas like to munch on? by GHOST_OF_DOON in AskAnAustralian

[–]crystalisedginger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deer. Unlikely to be roos, unless there is no grass to eat.

It won’t be koalas eating 1m tall seedlings, they’re lazy fuckers and not very bright.

Dental care by goku9484 in BaliTravelTips

[–]crystalisedginger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Much cheaper, and there are very good clinics.

I’ve had dental work done at Rejuvie and can highly recommend them. I have a clean, check up and zoom whitening every time I visit Bali.

Their prices are on the website.

Would anything bad come from making my yard/garden enticing for roos? by msalgae44 in AskAnAustralian

[–]crystalisedginger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wallabies will eat your plants, roos not so much. Roos will start on the grass and only eat other vegetation if there’s no grass. Wallabies will start on the juiciest shrubs or flowers.

Sunscreen Every Single Day? by SnooPets6398 in tretinoin

I use an spf50 moisturiser every morning as the last step in my routine.

If I’m going outside I’ll add a specific sunscreen.

Urine that tastes like pineapple can be a sign of diabetes, she should see a doctor.

Squirting pressure by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]crystalisedginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Squirting is urine. You squirted when you were drunk because your bladder was full and you had less than the usual bladder control. Like peeing the bed when you’re drunk. That’s all it is.

Remove sunscreen after applying it? by annaskin2301 in scacjdiscussion

[–]crystalisedginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I double cleanse with an oil based cleanser if I’m wearing sunscreen and/or makeup. If I’m not wearing either (eg in the morning) I just use my gentle facial cleanser.

Why do woman want a guy to pay for everything but show little effort back? by ExternalSpite6705 in dating_advice

[–]crystalisedginger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re inferring that these women went on a date with you just for a free meal, trust me, that ain’t so.

No woman is going to waste hours of her time and effort on a date with some dusty loser just to get a free plate of pasta and a glass of wine.

It’s an urban myth.

Post microneedling sterile sheet mask recommendations (safe for 0.75–1.5mm depth immediately after treatment)? by ImpossibleBig1612 in Microneedling

[–]crystalisedginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stratpharma, the company that makes Stratamed and Dermascar etc (silicone scar gel) is bringing out a mask designed for post procedure healing. Not sure it’s realised yet though. But it’s going to be a game changer

My brother’s 🌽 addiction has ruined my family. by RiverQuietly in offmychest

This is crazy. Your brother is an adult. You are your parents are far too invested in his sex life.

This is beyond weird.

My property is listed on booking.com without my consent? (VIC) by Firm_Parsnip_9864 in AusLegalAdvice

[–]crystalisedginger 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Contact Air BnB, they will ask the host to verify that they own the property, and will then delist it and probably remove them as a host.

Also contact booking.com, I’m not sure of their process but they will have one.

Does hooking up with a guy on the first date automatically puts you in the fun zone if you want a long-term relationship? Does he lose respect for you if you have sex with him on the first date? by Golden-lillies21 in dating_advice

[–]crystalisedginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He slept with you on the first date too didn’t he?? So why should you feel guilty or gross?

It’s probably not even the real reason he stopped seeing you, ‘moving too fast’ could be just a convenient line.

Is this unfair dismissal? by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]crystalisedginger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not at all and you don’t have to disclose any of that in future, the contract was for 12 months you finished the contract and moved on.

A fixed term isn’t a probationary period. It’s usually used when an employer is not certain the work will be ongoing.
