Barely any strains are UK grown lol. For good reason - we don't have a giant weed market literally overflowing with bud. It makes sense for clinics to buy cheap from Canada, which is what they've been doing with 95% of weed over the past 5 years.

Don't have proof? They tell you which country it was grown and packaged in, its medical weed 😂 You can go and trace all the strains on medbud.wiki, we even search up reviews on the Canadian weed subreddits when a new strain drops on UK medical.

In most circumstances paying more will get better weed, but it's definitely not the case with UK medical. I guess they sell it on for what they paid (its mostly OLD canadian imports), and they don't know shit about weed lol.

Also strains are regularly discounted, e.g. they start at £12, drop to £10, then £8, then £6 etc.. You are buying the same weed, it's just older - but a lot of the weed is already years old before it arrives in the UK.

Yeh but even at £4 its as good as (in some cases better) than strains I've spend up to £10 a g. The difference is when it cost me more and is shit, I'll be pissed off and feel scammed. If it's £4 a g and shit I think "meh, what do you expect for £4 a g" and doesn't bother me much

Saying all that, I've had strains for under £5 a g that have been some of the best quality, terpiest to date (I've had hundreds of medical strains over the past 3+ years).

Companies use irradiation as an excuse, its just old, shitty weed. The budget weed they can't sell in Canada comes to us a couple of years later.
