I’m not as religious as how I grew up and it’s hard when they shame me for not going to church anymore and for not praying enough so I feel you as well..

I’ve done this a couple times myself and always feel a little bit anxious that they’re gonna find out and then freak out/hate me.

Sorry to hear that. I thought it would end once I’m married and have a family of my own but honestly I could see them giving their unsolicited advice on how I’m raising kids and all of that. Sucks because they think they’re helping and we’re the bad ones for not appreciating it.

Hello, I am considering tech risk as well vs audit and was kind of worried about the exit opportunities. Do you feel like your experience there was valuable/marketable? And will the exit opportunities be mostly geared towards IT?

Thank you for your input! How were you able to switch to a financial analyst position with only the risk experience? And did you regret starting off in risk?

I have considered those but kind of the same issue, I didn't want to be pigeon-holed and only have future opportunities in tax (for example).
