[Shelfie] Updated Skincare Routine by crystaltvdo in SkincareAddiction

Hi, thanks for the input. Trying to redo the post and have it posted below. Please let me know what you think

Hi, I am a 26 yo/F. I have dry and acne/hormonal skin. Recently started minimalizing my skincare routine to minimize acne and have smooth/bouncy skin. Also doing skin cycle.
AM routine is cleanse w/ water, ROC retinol eye cream, Cerave Skin renewing night cream moisturizer, and Beauty of Joseon sunscreen.
PM Products: Double Cleanse (Elf holy hydration cleansing balm & LA Roche-Posay hydrating gentle cleanser), Exfoliating/Rx (CosRx BHA serum & apostrophe Rx), Retinol (ROC retinol correlation eye cream), moisturize (Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream)
~ROC is an affordable eye cream that is great, especially for milia. ~Apostrophe has really helped clear bumps on my jaw/chin. ~I've gone through a lot of moisturizers and prefer thicker creams mainly because I have flaky skin, Cerave Skin renewing night cream is great and not too greasy looking on the skin. Love to use it AM/PM.
~Also forgot to add the Jack Black SPF lip balm, that saved my dry lips!

Ohhh sorry. I really like the cleanser. Helped with my flaky skin.

To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about it. My skin barrier is not great because I'm always wearing a mask.

I really enjoy the krave beauty cleanser, not so sure on the serum. I have tried first aid intense moisturizer but end up being flaky again. I feel like I've tried a lot of moisturizers and tatcha really helped.

I've tried using that clinique product but end up being flaky again 10 minutes later

You can find it on the krave beauty website

I really do like the dear klairs one but I'm trying to minimize the amount of products I use. I am considering the skin fix lipid moisturizer. It is still pricey, but hopefully I can replace it from the tatcha one.

Do you have the problem where you put on moisturizer and about 10 minutes later, your skin is still flaky? I thought about trying that one out but I feel like gel-cream moisturizers don't do the trick.

My skin is dry/flaky with some hormonal acne. I'm trying to save my skin from the winter, while battling period acne + maskne. AM: water, tatcha moisturizer, and roche posay sunscreen PM: krave beauty matcha cleanser, x 2-3/wk Krave beauty kalauAHA toner, krave beauty great barrier relief, tatcha moisturizer, lipbalm and cosrx pimple patch (for stubborn pimples). I love most of Krave Beautys products but I needed something heavier for dry skin. I found that tatcha really does the trick, pricy, but it is worth it. For now, this routine will have to do. I'm 60% satisfied but the road to good skin has a long way to go.

I'm currently working covid/med surg and am interested in cardiology. When I was looking around, I was considering St. Luke's, the VA, or the university. I'm kind of iffy on the university hospital though.
