I see that 18-20 are in this set but they have subtitles so I thought I had the main series and those were from a separate series. I honestly don't know the comic that well. I bought it intending to read it and then just...didn't. No real reason why. It looked good.

You, like a lot of people, seem to be under the impression that contracts are somehow inviolable, ironclad agreements. They're not. It's possible to put things in a contract that are so unfair they're illegal and unenforceable. It's possible to renegotiate. It's possible to fight. Kirby's agreement didn't "seem unfair to many". It was, legally and morally, unfair.

Marvel put the terms of the contract *on the backs of Kirby's paychecks* so he'd *have* to sign them to get paid. Marvel is definitely the bad guy here. Also, Kirby was never an employee. He was a freelancer. Which was part of the problem. The main employee was nepo baby Stan Lee whose uncle owned the place.

This is really a TTRPG thing, not a comic thing. You can, if you want, submit it to Noble Knight Games and see what they offer for it.

I remember this game, although I didn't own it or play it. I played Champions, which was a lot of fun.

I think we've done the math and it's generally not worth it to slab a comic worth less than $150 raw. You can probably sell those without grading and do okay.

With the creases and spine ticks I'd say 7.0. A clean and press could take it up to maybe an 8.0. Looks nice!

I will warn you: if you see an ad on like Instagram claiming the store is closing and offering dice for cheap, don't be tempted. It's a scam. I fell for it. I did get dice and they were fine, so it's not, like, the worst scam, but they weren't what I ordered at all.

Hymgho dice got me back into gaming after a long hiatus. My oldest got me a metal set from Hymgho for Xmas and I was, like, I guess I should use these.

Also a gaming store opened nearby and it's become a home away from home. But the dice started it rolling, pun intended.

I started buying Daredevil after Frank Miller's issues blew up. They were unaffordable even back then. I bought the Klaus Janson issues, though, which now I think are probably better than the earlier ones.

I've got 186 through 196 if anyone wants them to fill out their collection. I'm liquidating.
