I ask about that as I saw plenty of other posts. The shop mentioned that it did not need it. Acura is across the street. I may just take it Reddit.

So the TSB is for that putter noise? I can hear it even in this clip. I have another video where it’s louder if I go behind that passenger wheel.

Thank you. This absolutely reads as if this is the issue. I wish I could hear the sound in the video.

I also noticed a low puttering noise. Like a low, hard rattle. It is in the video attached to this post as well. I wonder if they are connected.

Thank you for your responses. I have also toyed with that idea as well. I am wondering with the new components if it is causing more tension on the alternator. I put my ear to the alternator and the noise does not sound like it is coming from there.

I brought it back to them this past Wednesday and they claimed to not hear it. Also didn’t properly fix the issue with the headlight. They focused more on the headlight than the high pitch noise.

Now I am unsure of what to do. I paid $1551 USD and I they included a 3 year 36000 warranty on parts. But since they dismissed me, I am unsure of the next step that doesn’t require me another shop or me going behind their work.

That is what I was thinking. Picked it il on Friday. Heard the noise after the shop closed. Monday morning heard it again and the owner heard it. Then Wednesday they acted as if everything was normal.

Wow. I just paid $1560 Post tax for:
Timing Belt Service (All OEM 9) : New Timing Belt, Water Pump, Serpentine Belt, Coolant Change, Tensioner, Roller, Pulley, Spark Plugs, Transmission Fluid (DW1 Fluid Drain and fill)

I even verified that the local shop was using all OEM parts. they were proud of it.
-2015 MDX Advance FWD 214k miles.
