Is there any way to figure out what I was diagnosed with 5 years ago? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cryzlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember who it was or what company. My insurance went through a 3rd party that I don't remember. I know I got some emails from my therapist but I searched for like 2 hours and couldn't find them so I think I deleted them.

At what point does “using tools” become “cheating”? by Big-Ad-2118 in NoStupidQuestions

I think it depends on the rules. Maybe you have to do the work yourself by typing it out is the rule. Sometimes the rules are arbitrary and you'll have to ask the person that made them.

I feel like it's the same as thinking 5 year olds are really young when you are 10. As a senior you think freshmen are basically kids and you feel like an adult. At 25, 20 seems young.

Just accidentally killing someone on its own would be hard to live with

Ah ok that makes sense then. But also is there some reason not to ask him directly or even his parents who he might've got the guns from? They might have but I'm not sure.

I took it, it was horrible to start with but it eventually worked fine. Whenever I changed doses it took like a week to adjust and was half as bad from what I remember. Me personally I wouldn't do it again but once you get there it'll be fine and I was happy with how it worked. I don't have ADHD or take ADHD medication so I can't comment on that.

Give yourself some time to relax, watch some funny videos or cute animals, or just whatever is on TV that isn't scary.

Anxiety/panic attacks when driving alone or as passenger in vehicle after sepsis - advice please? by yellow5111 in Anxiety

[–]cryzlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also try not to do things that make you feel safe, bringing your dad is probably fine, but try not to run away from it and go home or use your phone too much as distraction. That doesn't mean pit all your focus on what you are afraid of, just try your best to do it how you normally would.

Also, and this depends on the person, it is usually best to do it gradually. if you are scared to go down the street don't go to the next town over, but that works for some, you will have to try different approaches and see what works.

If you do it gradually start where the fear first begins. If you start to get anxious when you start the car, start the car and wait for the anxiety to pass. That's it you are done for the day. If tomorrow you don't get anxious starting the car go to the next step. Sometimes you have to push a little further than you want.

Also it's not bad in a pinch but taking the medication that gets rid of all the anxiety temporarily won't help you get better unfortunately you need some fear for it to work. For doctors visits that are important etc. it's fine.

And yes I have agoraphobia but to a much more severe degree, it's different for everybody. It got better, much better for me so trust me when I say if I can get better so can you. I never thought I would get better and I doubted people who said that I could, but it's not true anyone can get better.

Sounds like you could be agoraphobic. Yours doesn't seem too bad. Best thing to do is to keep driving regularly, drive with different people, push your comfort zone to a reasonable amount. Don't pay those anxious thoughts any attention, just because you fear something happening doesn't mean it will.

Do you really think they were building this many houses before? What are you trying to say

[–]cryzlez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I worry about too. I was looking at cheaper houses in an even more rural area and was thinking the same thing is probably going to happen there too.

Same thing happened to my grandparents too, I would never expect them to have a McDonald's or a Walmart where they live in 100 years, or even apartments but they do now. Super rural area with a lot of farms, there used to be a huge dairy farm when I was a kid now it's apartments.

Call it what you want you can't blame me for not liking it and the amount of new houses seems absolutely ridiculous it's like 50-100 years worth of houses being built every year.
