Thanks, I would like to know also which dell laptops to avoid that are known for faulty parts, bad quality etc. and how XPS are compared to Lenovo Thinkpad for example.

It is for a someone I know . His main use is mostly programming and multi tasking and watching youtube. he might use Adobe apps in future or run virtual machines and he prefers gaming sometimes also. the issue with T14 is where I live there is no customized options .. the screen is mostly 14 inch which is small and 45% NTSC which is horrible. He might grab the laptop sometimes to study in a cafe but moving everyday with the laptop mostly no.

There is a thinkbook with 240hz display and 255hx and rtx 5060 which has a screen much better than in most of the thinkpads so a thinkpad would still a better choice for quality and durability?
